Sophiendal Slot is a very charm in place to stay. It is an old manor, -not a castle. There are several charming indoor sitting rooms and the surrounding nature is very beautiful. The evening restaurant is excellent, and the four course menu is worth driving for. Breakfast is average and the charming rooms are a bit worn.

Quiet, beautiful old manor house next to the oldest church in Denmark, this place has a country charm blended with museum quality common rooms. Romance and effort were put into the bedrooms. A nice little hotel worth the drive.

Ambient atmosphere, exelent food, reasonbly priced varied winelist. Breakfast with "evertything", especially delicios freshly baked bread. All the rooms are different and kept in style.
