Really great hotel with great stuff. 10 minutes away from ski resorts. It's placed in nice little town. Food is awesome in hotel. And there is a nice ceremony for New Year's Eve. I prefer this if you don't have enough money for luxury hotels.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is 350 years old we were informed by the owner and it is full of charm and character. There are many small parlours and sitting areas with interesting and antique furnishings, also a new glazed area where the bar is situated downstairs, and a sort of conservatory area upstairs.... I finally did not have the chance to experience the services of this hotel as the hotel cancelled by e-mail our confirmed reservation. A thing quite unethical and yet unexperienced by me. Two weeks ago we made a reservation for three rooms for a long weekend ski holiday. Yesterday I asked by e-mail that one room should be with balcony... More

Traveled with a pack of friends for skiing holidays around New Years. I liked the charm of the tradition in there, the whole place seems old, with renovated bits. We were lucky with a room overlooking the bridge, with sun in the morning, and with a renovated bathroom. Rooms were rather generously sized, nice and warm. The New Years eve... More

We went for skiing and stayed to this hotel. By far the most dirty room I ever stayed. They didn't have something to wash our hands and hot water was only in 4-6 pm. Location is very good. Close to kaprun and zell am see. I think that with this amount of money you can find better options.

We stopped at this sizeable, family hotel for one night due to an inability to get to our booked Hotel in Sankt Johann im Pongau due to 100 year floods in Austria. It is pretty from the outside - the rooms were generous size with private bathrooms, but overall it seemed tired. Given the circumstances, we were very pleased to... More

We stayed here as a family, for one week, in the original (old build) part of the hotel. After having not been here for about 15yrs, it was nice to see it still has the same traditional family style austrian feel. We had a generously sized room, fitted out with antique furnishings, however with a tastefully updated bathroom. The service... More

First and most important thing: apart from 1 person, the staff is not rude - but later on that. Together with my wife we caught a very good deal on the Lukashansl at the New Year’s Eve week and covering her birthday, starting 29.12.2012. Upon arrival, we were checked in by a nice and polite lady to our room. Unluckily,... More

We stayed one week at Lukashansl and had a very good time. The gasthof has been in the same family literally for centuries and there is a very cosy and intimate atmosphere. We had a nice room in the annex (some 150 meters from the gasthof itself) and directly to the river. We had dinner included and that was allways... More
