What an incredible place to stay. The character of the building is stunning. Perfectly restored. A peaceful haven. Amazing food. The staff could not be more helpful. Hope I get to return in the not too distant future

My fiancé and I have just returned from a lovely break at Hotel Endsleigh. The gardens were amazing and we spent two mornings exploring them. The hotel is comfortable and very relaxing. What really made it special though was the staff, they were all very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. The restaurant food was very nice however... More

I have just stayed in this imposing hotel that has charm set in its own amazing landscape gardens, the hotel has character and history as well as its location. I received a warm welcome and having high expectations of my room and was not disappointed, The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, I have found the staff to be very... More

I very rarely leave reviews in TA as most views have been expressed already. However, after our second trip here, I feel compelled to share our perfect experiences and hopefully help others decide whether Endsleigh is for them as I would like the hotel to secure the success, growth and long term future it so richly deserves. It may be... More

Stayed there for a weekend and thought it was fabulous. The staff could not have been any more helpful, the hotel is spotless and loved the little touches - than you Endsleigh. I look forward to going back and explore the river on a fishing trip!

This beautiful old house was an old fishing lodge owned by the Duke of Bedford and was known as his cottage ornée...hardly a cottage with its 100 or so acres, a 9 mile stretch of the Devon's great River Tamar on the borders of Dartmoor and 16 exquisitely converted suites. My wife and I had a three day tryst there... More

Just had an amazing afternoon tea. Was astonished at some of the poor reviews this has had recently. Nothing could be faulted. A really superb time we will definately be returning. We really liked the serve yourself buffet as it was more relaxed.

We just love the Endsleigh hotel. It is all you can wish for in the English countryside. Lovely setting, beautiful flower garden, sunny terrace just perfect for a splendid afternoon tea. Never been served such delicious sandwiches, not to forget to mention the excellent scones. Breakfast is Very English and opulent. We liked also our room with the old-fashioned bathroom.... More

What a fabulous experience. I say experience, because it was. No being processed as in the big flashy hotels. Greeted by name. Service beyond compare. (Endsleigh you must keep Christoff he is so professional, yet friendly). I really cannot fault The Endsleigh. I felt I was visiting a well heeled family for a weekend in the country, rather than being... More

What a shame to have to write this. On a recent visit to Endsleigh we couldn't have been more excited to return, and the hotel and grounds were as beautiful as ever. The reception staff gave us a warm welcome but sadly during our visits to the restaurant each night the maitre d' appeared frustrated and annoyed for no apparent... More
