Just got back home after a wonderful weekend at The Endsleigh. Our first visit and definitely not our last. Even in winter it is beautiful. From the early morning mist rising up from the river, to the sun setting on this magical valley, we just didn't want to leave. The staff are the best. Really attentive and kind but never... More

We stayed at Endlseigh recently over New Year. The service is exceptional. The hidden location down a long drive really idyllic. The gardens encompass woodland, ponds and waterfalls and the most wonderful flower borders and grass sloping down to the Tamar river. Even Winter does not disappoint. Log fires and candles in most reception rooms and large hall and cosy... More

My husband and I haven't visited Endsleigh for over 4 years but we were delighted that it has maintained its excellent standards. Wonderful location, the most relaxing atmosphere of any hotel we've stayed in and great service.

This was our third visit to Hotel Endsleigh and, to be honest, we had stayed away for a few years, having been disappointed in our last stay. However, Endsleigh is conveniently located near to some good friends who we had not seen for a while so we decided to give it another try and we are pleased that we did.... More

What an incredible place to stay. The character of the building is stunning. Perfectly restored. A peaceful haven. Amazing food. The staff could not be more helpful. Hope I get to return in the not too distant future

My fiancé and I have just returned from a lovely break at Hotel Endsleigh. The gardens were amazing and we spent two mornings exploring them. The hotel is comfortable and very relaxing. What really made it special though was the staff, they were all very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. The restaurant food was very nice however... More

I have just stayed in this imposing hotel that has charm set in its own amazing landscape gardens, the hotel has character and history as well as its location. I received a warm welcome and having high expectations of my room and was not disappointed, The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, I have found the staff to be very... More

I very rarely leave reviews in TA as most views have been expressed already. However, after our second trip here, I feel compelled to share our perfect experiences and hopefully help others decide whether Endsleigh is for them as I would like the hotel to secure the success, growth and long term future it so richly deserves. It may be... More

Stayed there for a weekend and thought it was fabulous. The staff could not have been any more helpful, the hotel is spotless and loved the little touches - than you Endsleigh. I look forward to going back and explore the river on a fishing trip!

This beautiful old house was an old fishing lodge owned by the Duke of Bedford and was known as his cottage ornée...hardly a cottage with its 100 or so acres, a 9 mile stretch of the Devon's great River Tamar on the borders of Dartmoor and 16 exquisitely converted suites. My wife and I had a three day tryst there... More
