Visited Hotel Endsleigh this week to watch “The Secret Garden”, an open-air play performed by Chapterhouse Theatre Company. The enchanting gardens at Hotel Endsleigh certainly enhanced the magic of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s well-loved story, and people filled the picnic space on the croquet lawn for an enjoyable and entertaining evening. The hotel ran a reasonably-priced barbecue, hot and cold drinks... More

With friends we visited for afternoon tea, a lovely old house in a superb setting and an amazing garden. The tea and service were both very good and consisted of various sandwiches(salmon, cucumber, ham, egg on both brown and white bread also excellent canapes after which there was a large selection of cakes and scones in the library for which you helped yourself.... I took my mother here for a birthday cream tea. We used to visit quite frequently years ago when we lived locally, and decided to return as we have always loved Endsleigh. It has been renovated slightly in the years we have been away, adding a few much needed improvements to make the business profitable. The building and grounds are... More

We booked a night at Endsleigh after seeing it mentioned by Alex Polizzi on "The Hotel Inspector" (watching at home in Australia), when she took the proprietors of a down-at-heel "country house" to show them what a country house could really be like. Nothing, however, prepared us for just how good Hotel Endsleigh really is. I suppose there are larger... More

I was taken for a meal at Hotel Endsleigh to celebrate my retirement and it exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel like special guests. The food was exquisite and particular attention was paid to my vegetarian requirements. The romantic interior of the hotel matches the exquisite gardens and lovely views over... More

We had not visited Hotel Endsleigh for a while and decided to visit, with a preceding visit to Endsleigh Garden Center to make an afternoon of our trip. The Garden Center is accessible just before the hotel drive in the left. One can then continue through to join the main hotel drive following the collecting of any purchases, of which... More

A really great place to celebrate your 46th wedding anniversary lunch and the hotel staff made it extra special. The rhododendron filled drive in, the amazing architecture and the stunning grounds make this a very special place. The friendly staff and the attention to detail though added to the enjoyment and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. OK the restaurant... More

My husband took me away on our "Bridget Jones mini break" last week and had booked the Hotel Endsleigh. The staff welcomed us in and were very friendly and professional. We were in Room 14 which was lovely and had a fab view over the gardens, not a massive room but perfectly fine...the shower was over the bath which was... More

We've stayed at Hotel Endsleigh a few times before, always in late Autumn (birthdays) or winter (including Christmas), and love the hotel. As we were in the area at a wedding last weekend we'd booked for Sunday lunch in order to see the place (especially the roses) in summer time. I received an email a week before our booking to... My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at Hotel Endsleigh to celebrate his birthday. I was very impressed by the customer service - personal, friendly, super helpful but never obtrusive. Nothing was too much trouble - from organising bikes to taxis, a picnic and canoing. It felt perfect for a boutique hotel - excellent customer service and ugh standards but... More
