Firstly, I urge people to completely ignore the 1 star review by Charlene (if you read her review you'll see that she didn't even stay at Rosemary Cottage). We had a lovely stay overnight and felt thoroughly looked after by Tiffany - nothing was too much trouble - a very attentive host! A fabulous Aga cooked breakfast set us on... More

Really nice one-night stay here after dining at Mason's Arms. Warm welcome from Tiffany, with tea and coffee instantly offered. Pleasant room with excellent bathroom along the landing (not en-suite). Huge, soft, comfortable bed. Lovely big towels in bathroom. Very ample breakfast in the morning. Just felt very welcome in this homely place. Don't know what must have rattled Charlene... More

We were eating at the Mason's Arms for a special birthday treat and needed somewhere to stay overnight. We were made to feel so welcome and at home by Tiff. Our room was lovely, large and luxurious and the bed was really comfy. We were greeted on arrival with tea and scones - delicious! Breakfast was excellent and refreshingly informal... More

Rosemary Cottage has a bouncy new proprietor who is in the process of brightening up the interior and has plans for further improvements. We were happy with the changes and found it perfectly comfortable.

i had the misfortune to book this B&B and it has unfortunately changed hands. The pictures she is using are from the previous owner. When we arrived there was nowhere to put our clothes and when i questioned/asked where i could put them Tiffany told me to hang them on the back of the door. We actually left and booked... More

Sarah and Simon treated us so well during our two nights at Rosemary Cottage - we three walking women were all equally impressed with the relaxed surrounds and the generosity of our hosts. We also fell in love with Dyson, the new Golden Retriever puppy of the house. Sarah is a wonderful cook and the quintessentially British country cottage was... More

Sara and simon have a lovely cottage in this typical Devon village. There are two rooms for guests but you will feel more like friends of the family. Dogs are welcome and they have a new puppy! The rooms are pleasantly furnished and the beds very comfortable. Choose what you want for breakfast. Excellent scrabbled eggs and smoked salmon was... More

We stayed here at the end of day 5 walking the Two Moors Way, when my wife joined us overnight for a second time, albeit mainly attracted in her case by the nearby Michelin starred restaurant. Sara was an amazing host, helped of course by Simon and their newly arrived puppy Dyson. She could not have done more for us... More

Sara and Simon run one of the best cottages that we have been in. We did the Two Moors Way and we walked 17 miles that day. My first sighting of the cottage put a smile on my face. Beautiful cottage, not so little, surrounded in the beauty of gardens. Sara is a hoot! Their home is very warm and... More
