Pity how a once great place can turn so bad. Lack of maintenance was apparent shining in the eye: windows with a broken lock, shower in need of a fix, producing smelly water (although that can be issue with the Butuan water company), bathtub I am not going to use due to it's state, water leaking at the fountain (wife... I booked over the phone for 14days for a family short vacation. Our first night was terrible. We see cockroaches running the room, cobwebs everywhere and the cabinets tables and the floor were all very dusty.Even 2 glasses prepared in the table were all dusty and smelly. The room was quite big with a bath tub.For that long stay they should prepare the... This looks like a decent hotel, but lacks either the will or management to be one. The first room we checked into had no hot water and a huge hole in the bathtub rendering it unusable. Well, OK, we've spent time in the Philippines before and realize that standards can be different there. We call the desk in the morning... More

average place but staff are very helpful. didn't have a phone in my room. i think the place is overdue for a refurbishing due to its tired lockers & furniture (inside the room) as well as the toilet and shower i think a lot needed to be done to re-energise the place.

Appreciated getting a room on short notice, but not at the cost. Went to Dottie's Place on a recommendation of "best in Butuan City." A sad commentary on the state of local hotels. Air conditioner was anemic, half the lights burned out, room was right on the highway, with accompanying traffic noise all night, breakfast menu not just extremely limited... More

From the time I checked into my room till the time that I actually could relax in a minimally decent room was almost an hour an a half. I had to change rooms three times. The so-called deluxe suite had a shower that did not work at all. The handle literally came off in my hand. The two chairs in... More

Writing this review in a room, April 2014. Stayed here with my fiance', a resident of the area. We recieved the provincial rate, which made it bearable for a few days. However, after a week I am fed up with my stay here. 1 Hot shower in a week! Dirty rooms which are cared for differently each time we returned... More

We chose this hotel for many reasons...a safe parking space, peaceful place located in a National H-way, one of the "class A" hotel in the city, among others. And as a first-timer, we're satisfied with our stay. A hotel staff helped us with our things to our assigned room. We had an "executive king", as I remembered...it's so spacious and... More

This is one of the "class" hotels in Butuan located not in the busy part of JC Aquino Ave. The rooms are spacious with amenities like free wifi, swimming pool, fitness center and restaurant. It really has the potential to be one of the bests had it been for a better service. When you enter the hotel, nobody is there... More

We had the opportunity to stay here for a few days! It is a peaceful, "secluded" place in the heart of Butuan on J.C. Aquino. About PHP1,500/single room, but they're very nice! Hot water in the shower, good aircon, good TV's, nice beds, etc. Very clean. Beautiful pool with restaurant. Looks like a resort, but priced like a nice hotel.... More
