At 7200 ft up on Mount Data, this hotel (lodge) makes a good stop-over for travellers but don't expect any frills. The building has seen better days and could do with some refurbishment. There is no heating in the rooms and it does get cold at night. Hot water bottles (literally) are provided at night which we found to be... More

Heard about how old this place was but no other more decent place to stay in that area of the Mt. Province to enjoy the cool mountain air. The place has seen it's better days. If only the Tourism Department can funnel more funds to spruce it up. Rooms and bathrooms need major rehab. It's dark and gloomy at night.... More

Mount Date Lodge is located in the highest area of the Philippine Highway System. It has definitely seen better days and needs to be refurbished, although I can see it must have been quite a hotel in its prime. We ended up here after the road to Sagada was closed and we had to wait one evening before moving on.... More

My family made the Baguio-Sagada-Banaue trip and Mt. Data lodge was our favorite. We even made sure we stayed there again on our return trip! It's located in the mountains about 2.5 hours from Baguio just across the border into Mt. Province. It's set back from the highway and surrounded by pine trees. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and if... More

We stayed one night in Mt.Data hotel during our trip from Sagada to Baguio. Hotel is in nice place surrounded by the nature, forest and mountains. We wasn't lucky with the weather, it was raining all the day, so spent all the evening inside hotel. Hotel is very simple: rooms are small, dark and very wet. During the night it... More

Philippines' highest hotel, located in a forest clearing - so the air was fresh/cool/clear. Large dining room and spacious rooms. No TV in room and the lounge TV only seemed to have 2 channels. Excellent food and courteous staff. Lacked social interaction - or perhaps that's just cause I'm an introvert!
