My family and I have just returned from a weekend stay at Palm Gardens. Set in a stunning coconut grove, the resort offers 4 good size rooms , a lovely pool, manicured gardens and fabulous hosts Larry and Thongpai. Yards from the beach and within minutes drive of some great restaurants, this is one of those best kept secret spots... More

We had 5 nights over Christmas 2015. Beautiful, tranquil setting. Spacious accommodation including private terrace close to a spotless swimming pool shared between just 4 villas, each set in beautiful manicured gardens. Just a few minutes distant is a delightful and safe beach almost void of tourists. Various bars / restaurants to choose from. Our hosts, Larry and Thongbai made... More

My wife and I have just spent three relaxing weeks at this very special resort close to the lovely beaches in Bang Saphan and enjoyed every moment of it. It is quite small with only four comfortable poolside rooms but they are surrounded by beautiful manicured gardens - the whole ambience is one of tranquility. The proprietors, Larry and Thombai,... Our family stayed 5 nights at Palm Gardens, & had a very relaxing time. We had 2 rooms (one of the 4 main rooms and a second smaller bungalow near the main house, which our 2 children had - 11 & 13 years), which were a good size, and clean. Tongbai & Larry made you feel very welcome, and go... More

We stayed for 12 nights over Xmas & New year & would 100% recommend to anyone that wants to experience true Thailand. There is nothing commercialized about it, it's like stepping back in time when life was so simple. Larry & his wife Thongbai were so helpful & made everyone welcome. Rooms very clean & spacious, lovely clean pool &... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts Larry & Tongbai are lovely people who cannot do enough for you. Good sized rooms with tv, tea & coffee facilities & shower with a good sized pool serving 5 double rooms. Probably the best breakfast in Thailand. Ideal for booking as a group. There... More

Hats off to this brilliant resort, bit of a trek from HH, but well worth it (easy by train). Both Larry and Tongbai are so hospitable and make you feel exceptionally welcome. And Julie (my wife) reckons it's the best breakfast she's ever had in Thailand (with the exception of her own - lol) ‪#‎huahinfoodies‬

this is a great place for a quiet getaway. It is close to the beach with a number of beachfront bars and restaurants close by. There are only four accommodations so it is nice and peaceful yet has a large swimming pool for dipping in if you don't want the sand of the beach. Larry and his lovely wife TomBai... More

We are an adult couple travelling with our 8 year old daughter. We've been to Thailand and Southeast Asia many times. We booked a room through internet for 3 nights, but end up staying there for a whole week. If you're looking for a genuine and relaxing part of Thailand, this is the region. The Palm Gardens Resort is the... More
