My girlfriend and I spent three wonderful nights in the blue room at Aux Quatre Saisons. We can come up with at least three reasons to warmly recommend this outstanding establishment. One : hospitality. Usually a hotel simply offers a bed to sleep in an area which you intend to visit. Very rarely however you find a place where you... More

The most wonderful of experiences with Paul & Val Bridgestock at this beautiful location. The most amazing ambiance , beautiful food and service with surprise after surprise with the dishes and the stories behind them. Paul has just written a book and I implore you to buy a copy and read it before you stay. You'll get to meet some... More

Highlight of our trip, by far. We spent the day with Stephanie in Cote de Nuits and it was magical. She is so knowledgeable and approachable -- we learned a ton, went to fabulous wineries and really enjoyed ourselves. She was also so helpful in coordinating shipping wine from different places for us and making it a stress free experience.... More

Paul and Val are simply the most hospitable operators of any type of accommodation we have ever experienced. Anyone staying here MUST take dinner. Paul is a trained chef who holds court every night except Monday. At 7 pm, guests assemble in the lounge, where Paul and Val dole out champagne, before sitting down to a four-course meal and conversation... More

We had 3 nights there and loved our stay with Paul and Val. Ask if dinner is available as you will have a superb night from these excellent hosts. I will return again no doubt about that. The scenery from the property is pretty breathtaking along with two great pets to keep you company.

We stayed with Paul and Val for two nights, late December. Superb hosts, friendly, welcoming, genuine people. Wide choice at breakfast, but the 2 dinners prepared by Paul during our stay were outstanding quality. Delicious 5 course meal, each course was accompanied by carefully selected wine ( and plenty of it). The apartment was comfortable, spacious, warm and clean. The area, little... More

Stayed 3 nights in October. Thanks to TripAdvisor I found wonderful places to stay during my 10 days in the Pyrenees and Languedoc-Roussillon but I think Aux Quatre Saisons was a notch above the others. Everything was just a little bit extra. Small but well appointed en-suite room with a fridge with beer and goodies that were gratis. Paul's delicious... More

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this brilliant Chambre d’Hôtes. We spent three nights in the second floor apartment in early November. The welcome was warm, the hospitality was second to none and the room was very comfortable. Hosts Paul and Val work incredibly hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable and that you leave feeling you’ve been well cared for.... More

What was just as amazing was the supper that Paul, our host prepared for us, even though he was under the weather.4 courses and wines included for 20 euros each. They were amazing meals and made our stay there that much more... More
