Went to Caramoan last week (March 7-9) and stayed in West Peninsula thru Agoda.com From the Guijalo port, the hotel is a good 20-30min tricycle ride. The tricycle ride cost us P150 for 4 persons. Location of the hotel is right in the town proper of Caramoan in a residential area. From here, everything is walkable - carinderias, souvenir shop,... More

Location is nice - farther to the port but very central. Walking distance to the only market and souvenir shops and the old brick church. There are a handful of accommodations in Caramoan and they sit next to each other but West Peninsula is one of the few who has a pool. Its really a big plus to have ammenities... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in January. Overall, we found the hotel as a good place to stay. It is not a fancy hotel and not a bad one either. We were housed in 10,11, 17,18, and the one closest to the gym. It has good sized rooms with hot & cold shower, a/c and TV. No fridge was provided... More

Nice place to stay after a long day of island adventure. PRO's: -perfect for couples. -small but cozy and clean rooms -food was great -friendly and attentive staff -strong water pressure CON's: -weak satellite cable reception -service may took a few minutes Yun lang. I do recommend westpen for travellers who are not picky.

Location is relatively accessible as it is a walking distance from the town center. It is a nice place to relax, especially after an exhausting but awesome island hopping, there's a pool available for guests! Plus there's a tavern in the area (but it is mosquito-prone due to the rice-field proximity, if I remember it right). It is a convenient... More

My friends and I went to Caramoan last October 2013.We stayed in the resort for 3 days and 2 nights. Unlike other resorts West Pen offeres tour package where in it is full of activities like island hopping and going to the Grotto and van transfers from naga terminal going to Sabang port and from the port going to West... The problems are that (1) no one guide us (personally) getting in Caramoan even though we get the package. Like the van who is getting us in the airport is late. He also allowed strangers in the van on the way on the Sabang port. On Sabang port, we were late so we waited for 3 hours going to Guiajo... More

West Peninsula would've gotten a perfect score from me if their reservation officers and receptionists are organized. Don't get me wrong, this is probably one of the best, affordable places I've stayed at and I enjoyed my time. I'll share my story briefly. We were a group of 10 people who reserved for a 3day2night-stay last April 2013. Upon arriving... More

One word: Organized. Leave your worries behind and enjoy the sun (though personally, I was a worrier because I want to make sure everything is in order). Well coordinated from Naga pick-up to the resort proper. Our tour guide, Roel, immediately introduced himself and told us of the time to meet after lunch. We were late but it doesn't matter... More

Arriving in Caramoan after an hour's plane ride to Naga, and a two hour private van ride to the port and another 2 hour scary boat ride, we were so relieved to see the West Pen's van at Guijalo port. A new van it was and in about ten minutes we passed a small dirt road and voila, the resort... More
