Oh what a special night!! We have eaten here on several occasions and it is always good or great. Saturday night it was extraordinary! We had driven from Monterey and had been stuck in traffic due to an accident. We were hungry and on the off chance we could find a spot in the restaurant or bistro we drove off... More

First off, let me start by clearing the air about this resort. I think the reviews are scattered, some are great and others not so great. I think the disappointments come from the expectations. This is not a luxurious, trendy spot. It is a rustic resort that carries philosophies such as farm to table, organic farming practices and honest nature.... More

The overall grounds are very large. There are some awesome spots to take photos. The rooms are huge! They are dated, kind of Retro if you will. We walked the grounds and saw several areas that were quiet and relaxing. The lobby and restaurant make you feel like its years past and your not in hectic California. Great value for... More

The place is not a luxurious resort for sure, but the surrounding nature, experience at the farm and very friendly staffs make up for it. Each room is very simple (no TV or anything, but they do have A/C in each room) as the theme of this organic farm is being "Green". During the weekends in June, they have Lavender... More

We attended the event on Saturday afternoon and purchased a couple of beers from local breweries that tasted good. We then ordered two roasted corns and sausage. The food tasted average and they offered no butter or other seasons for the corn! The price was high for what you get. The shuttle service to take you there was complamentary and... More

I was really happily anticipating my visit to Highland Springs resort. It was close to where I was going and I always liked the grounds. However I was sadly disappointed with the rooms. I called in advance for a room with two adults and three children to ensure they had a room of that size. They put me in the... More

I used to think this was a beautiful resort. The restaurant was lovely. The service was impeccable. We had a family event (rehearsal dinner for a wedding) with 100 people at this venue, it was memorable. Unfortunately, our family will never use this venue again. Our father died recently and my sister drove out to the venue to make arrangements... More

I love this resort. The staff at the front dest was helpful, friendly and professional. My sister and I booked a room for a family reunioun, looking for a rustic, nature inspired location and what a sweet surprise. We were greeted in the lobby with a beautiful display of local history with antique ambience which was ispirational. Our room was... More

We had a fine time at the Highland Springs Resort one recent weekend, but the hotel is a bit shabby and run down. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff seemed to have trouble keeping the breakfast buffet (that was included in the price for the room) stocked with basics... More

We arrived there with the expectations of a 'resort' and left disappointed. We didn't even stay the night as we had planned. We checked in and checked out w/in a matter of hours. The clerk mentioned that their remodel has been 5 years in the making and still a work in progress. other than find some newer decorations and a... More
