We purchased two lock-off timeshare units at Timber Lodge a couple of years ago. We have visited three times... 2x in winter and once in summer. The accomodations are always perfect. Comfortable beds & pillows, the best location for skiing at Heavenly, fabulous pool & hot tubs. FREE Internet. This summer we discovered that South Lake Tahoe has some wonderful... more

I am an owner at the Timber Lodge. This was the second time we've stayed here. Although the weather was cool and a bit rainey, we still enjoyed our stay. I requested to be put in a quite part of the resort, and ended staying in the newest section of the resort at the end of a hall. The only... more

I purchased a week's stay through Interval International and was pleased with the accomodations of the resort. My room was immaculate. I had a small kichenette in a studio, but found more utensils than expected. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The gym was great, as well as the Fire and Ice restaurant in... more

We belong to Interval International and bought a week in a 1 BR at a super price. We went in their off season. We found our room 7442 to be spacious and very comfortable. Service was very good. We had to hunt a bit to find restaurants that were less that $30 for an entre and which wasn't a fast... more

We're longtime owners in the Marriott Vacation Club system and have been consistently pleased with each location we've visited. This was our first trip to Tahoe and it was lovely. The resort is quite lovely and perfectly situated. Valet Parking, for 1-week staying timeshare owners is included - otherwise it's $22 for each 24-hour period. Because the parkign is being... more

My husband and I wanted to have a little getaway. We decided since we were going to Las Vegas for a week, why not take another week and head to Lake Tahoe, which we did. We stayed at the Marriott Timber Lodge (Marriott Vacation Timeshare Resort). The shuttle to Heavenly was about 1 1/2 but well worth it. The views... more

We booked three nights at Marriott's Timber Lodge as part of a marketing package tied to a mandatory time share presentation. The resort is beautiful, and checkin/checkout service was flawless, attentive, and personable. I wasn't fond of the steep per day parking fee in a non-city -- it's something that I'd expect in San Francisco or San Diego, for example,... more

Although it's a challenge to reach, either via roadway or air, a stay at Marriott's Timberlodge is truly worth the hours of travel. From the welcoming smile as a bellman opens the door into an inviting lobby, to the daily offereings of cider and cookies, to the knowledgeable and professional representatives at the front desk, it is evident that a... more

We just got back from staying 5 nights at the Marriott Timber Lodge. It is a timeshare but we just booked directly through Marriott's web site. The hotel itself is great but very pricey since it is not Ski In, Ski Out like we expected. Yes, the hotel is at the base near the gondola, but rooms are a haul... more

No complaints at all. BUT, AND I DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO PUT THIS, BUT THE FOOD SERVICES ON HEAVENLY REALLY SUCK!!!! VERY EXPENSIVE AND NOTHING BUT... more
