I guess I thought I had found some awesome secret spot because I was quite underwhelmed with the Seven Seas we got. While the owners were nice and there are some cute touches to the place, that isn't enough to make up for the negatives. When we showed up, we waited so long for them to realize we were there... more

I stayed there for 14 nights from February 20th 2009. On first arriving I was not sure I would stay there for that length of time as was a walk to the gondola (although not many places closer) and thought maybe were other cheaper places to stay. Well there are cheaper places but no way will you get the service... more

Not only is this hotel close to the casino's and Heavenly Ski Resort, but the people are what bring me back. I have never been treated so well and made at home. This place will get you the most bang for your buck, in the perfect part of town and the best hospitality. I will always stay at 7 Seas... more

My kid found this place when I asked him to Google up a cheap hotel South Lake Tahoe. This place was GREAT! I checked in at 11:30 pm after calling from I-5. Once the paperwork was done, the owner gave me a beer. I was shocked--in this day and age, something like that could only happen with a mom and... more

Kent and Carolyn provide the best customer service that I have ever experienced in a small motel. They offered us rides to the mountains and even invited my friend and myself as well as everyone else staying there into their home for a major feast. My favorite part of the room was the high powered shower with the best water... more

We stayed in the 7 seas for a week in Feb 09 after reading the many positive reviews on this website. The reviews accurately reflect the location, motel and most importantly the hospitality of the owners Kent and Carolyn. The motel is situated pretty much on the state border, just off the main street, which means it's within an easy... more

This place is perfect as far as I'm concerned... I loved it, my wife loved it, and my dog loved it! If you're looking for fancy, pretentious, gilded accommodations, go to a casino in NV. If you're looking for inexpensive, cool, low key motel with class and a style of its own, this is the place. Our room had a... more

I thought that this was a very good deal for the location. It is close to the lift at Heavenly and also the casinos. The owners are super friendly and helpful! The free breakfast is real nice and the coffee was GOOD! A couple of small points as to why i don't give it a 5. 1. we reserved a... more

This is a small family run motel on a quiet street, easy walking distance to the Heavenly gondola, restaurants, shopping and the casinos. Great little hot tub with our choice of music, comfortable bed, a clean, cozy room with gas fireplace, free wi-fi, nice continental breakfast, eveything needed for a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Our hosts also provided pickup... more
