I stayed here back in my grad student days of trying to save money. When I discovered we could stay here for less than $50 per night, I was excited. That didn't last long. As others have mentioned, this place has not been updated in over 30 years. Our bathtub did not drain, there was mold and mildew everywhere in... more

When we opened the door to our room and discovered that the moldy bathtub did not even drain, that should have been our first clue. With much resistance, the staff allowed us to change rooms, but it didn't make much of a difference. The hotel was ancient and dirty. The staff was rude. The walls were paper thin and did... more

We've been staying at Holiday Lodge since 2003 and we've had no problems with them at all till January 2007. We've always stayed in one or both of the Cabins and one time we had a Family Suites. We liked it because it was near the casinos and right across the street from Heavenly's Gondola. The only bad experience we... more

Even for the price I still expected my room to be clean and not with the previous residents cheerios scattered on the ground (and this was after we got "upgraded" to the "suite" from the 1970's. The photographs for this place on their website must have been taken in 1902 when the motel was first built as it looks absolutely... more

A terrible hotel that should be avoided. We stayed over new year 2006 and had a very poor experience. The walls were paper thin and given that many of the rooms surrounding us were full of college students sleeping at night was less than easy. The worst aspect however was the service. I have never met such mean-spirited and unhelpful... more

This Hotel is a horrible hotel to stay. We had an expensive item stolen from our hotel room by an employee and the hotel did not want to assist us in retrieving the stolen items. The Hotel was rude and would not take any type of blame for the situation. Horrible managment and overal a trashy hotel. Rooms were dirty... more

My son had a soccer tournament just for the weekend (on June 25th, 2006). We had the family suit with double beds and the other room with the sofa bed, little fridge, microwave, and kitchen. Overall for the price $140.00 including tax it was ok but we couldn't sleep those two nights because there is no air condition in the... more

We were put up in room 104 and what a nightmare the bathroom was super moldy and the curtins looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in years and the whole room reaked of moldy musty smell (very dirty place) the web site does not reflect the truth too bad. needless to say we will never go back if you... more

We were looking for a clean cheap hotel for 3 nights after a week in my timeshare. As we were skiing, ideally, we wanted something near the gondola. We looked at most of the hotels surrounding the gondola, and near the casinos. This hotel was by far the cleanest, and was ideal for the price. We paid $70 a night... more

Me and my buddy went snowboarding in March 2006 and stayed here. This place has a great price, perfect location and friendly employees. Let me start by saying this isn't this Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons! It is an old motel. Nothing is new it. But you shouldn't be spending much time in your room anyways if you are coming... more
