Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of June. Had purchased through Hotwire at a good price for a studio. I was upgraded to a one room unit which was very nice, spacious and very clean. Very helpful staff. Great location. Only problem is the parking and having to pay mandatory charge for parking. more

We are Diamond Resort OWNERS. Our ownership is at San Luis Bay Inn. But we now are points owners so this is one of our Diamond Resorts in our family. This RESORT is GREAT. It is at least a FOUR STAR maybe even FOUR AND A HALF STAR. We stayed in a one bedroom in the new WING Room 533A.... more

We stayed here, having traded our time share week. Our 1 bedroom unit was ample for two adults and one 6 year old. There was plenty to do on-site. Our daughter loved the Activity Center where she could hang out with freinds her age. The indoor-outdoor pool was terrrfic. The staff was very helpful. The on-site restaurant was very good... more

Several people here have complained about the timeshare pressure involved with staying here. And for those of us who have dealt with it, it is annoying at best and mind-numbingly horrifying at worst. But bear in mind that this place is primarily a timeshare location, so if you opt to pay cash to stay here, you can expect that they'll... more

The front desk is rude and not very helpful. Beware: This is a bait and switch scheme...they'll show you the best rooms with the view of the lake and updated furniture, but once you become an owner you'll get the complete opposite. Hope you like the view of McDonalds as an owner of this timeshare. more

I booked this for a family vacation because we needed at least three beds and I wanted to have something with kitchen, eating and living areas. We were in a suite that had a king bed in the master and two queen beds in the other bedroom. It also had two bathrooms, which was very nice to have so there... more

It sure is a scary drive from Reno to Lake Tahoe. I would have been petrified if there had been ice on the roads. I probably will not go back to Lake Tahoe for this reason. The resort it's self met and exceeded my expectations. We had a very nicely decorated room and from what I've read we didn't even... more

Stayed at Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort from February 20 thru Feb. 27 using a timeshare exchange. ( It would have been expensive if we had not used an exchange.) Resort could have been a hotel! Great location- right on Lake Tahoe, near lots of restaurants & stores and only a mile from the casinos and Heavenly Ski Resort. Our two... more

Booked three nights in a studio (room 318B) through Diamond Club Membership over Veterans Day weekend. No problems with check-in. Was originally given a room on the bottom floor, but asked for a room on a higher floor and ended up on the third floor near the elevator. As a club member, we had free valet parking. If you're not... more

We exchanged an RCI week for a week (9/8/2007-9/15/2007) at Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort (LTVR) . This is part of our 2007 Western US Road Trip. We had camped for 7 days in Northern CA on our way back to Lake Tahoe and were ready for civilization. See our earlier reviews. When we arrived at LTVR we were pleased to... more
