This resort is owned and operated by Diamond Resorts, a timeshare company. If you are an "owner"/member of Diamond Resorts, you'll have the upper hand and priority here. Nonmembers, expect to pay hidden fees (parking, wi-fi, etc) and prepare to be hassled for a session to buy into Diamond. Location: The best possible location for any resort. I'd suggest this... More

My husband and I had a two bedroom lock off. The space was beautifully decorated and the service was amazingly wonderful. We had comfortable beds, soft towels. Needless to say we had a renovated unit. There is construction going on and the parts that are being renovated are not nice to view. The property is close to the marina and... More

We've made our reservation almost 3 months in advance with our friends to celebrate their special anniversary, and confirmed it verbally on the phone a week prior to our arrival. Upon our check in we were “regretfully” informed that the resort was overbooked and that we will be given a room at another resort a couple of miles away. We’ve... More

Our group of five enjoyed the facilities even during construction. We are owners and had a renovated room on the first floor. Ownership allows for free parking and wi-fi so that was a plus for us. I will have to say the construction noise was minimal as it appeared to be coming from the rooftops and the inner courtyard area... More

He room was great , but all we could hear and see was construction. We had doors and window closed and still heard construction noise. I'm sure the place will be nice eventually. Can't tell you about anything on the property it was such a mess we didn't hang around. Location was pretty good especially close to marina. South Lake... More

We stayed at this resort and it turned out to be the old Embassy Suites. The rooms were nice and spacious, and the breakfast was quite good. I consider this hotel a good value for the money. It is right on the CA side of Stateline Blvd., so access to the (declining) casinos was easy.

My husband and I visited the Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort from 8/18-8/22...a free trip through my company. We brought 2 friends along as we had a two-bedroom. We were nervous about the hotel after reading reviews on TA but were up for any challenges because..did I mention it was a free trip? :) Fortunately, the rumors were exaggerated (for us,... More

The timeshare units are beautiful and spaceous with a big bedroom, huge tiled bathroom, full kitchen and a living room with a natural gas fireplace. We can't wait to see what it's like once the construction on the outside is complete. It's located between the road and the lake and access is to the lake is right next door by... More

I was a little concerned considering the negative reviews I saw on-line. However, I needed a 2 bedroom suite and this fit the bill and the cost was decent for a holiday weekend. I was pleasantly surprised! The room was super nice, newly renovated with a full kitchen in the main suite and a small kitchenette in the 2nd suite.... More

The directions here could be improved by mentioning that it is right beside McDonalds. We missed it the first time down Rt 50 going south, finally turned around and saw it on the way back north. Construction still has then entire front entrance and driveway closed. So parking is by valet only around back, and then you wind your way... More
