The Park Tahoe Inn was an excellent value at $40/night. It is located about a five minute walk away from the Heavenly Gondola. It was a bit tiring to carry skis and boots, but well worth the convenience of not having to park. Stayed here for two nights after a drive from San Fran. Beautiful property right opposite shopping complex and big ski lift. Two blocks from the state border and its accompanying casino's etc...
