I'll lead with the good part: The cabin itself was great--homey, spacious, and cabin-y--and was located just a five-minute walk from Heavenly. The hot tub was broken, but I'll get into that later. Unfortunately, to book this cabin you'll have to deal with the WORLD'S WORST BUSINESS, Tahoe Keys Resort. They are completely incompetent and treat their customers like crap.... More

Throughout my many years of renting in Lake Tahoe, I have never dealt with such an awful property management company and I highly recommend staying far away from this one: CABIN: For just two nights of stay, I spent several hours following up over e-mail and phone with an outrageously rude staff, only to be given a cabin that included... The rooms were actually really big and could fit 4 people (we were only 2). We had a problem with the bathroom curtain being broken and they fixed it quickly and offered us a bottle of wine. Great service and a great location to visit Lake Tahoe.

After looking at four units we were ready to leave. The units were either old and in need of serious updating or had other issues like only one queen bed (no king or no 2 queens.) Bathroom on different floor from bedroom. etc. Finally found a one-story two-bedroom updated unit near the beach. Took a lot of time. Recommendation: If... More

I grew up in Lake Tahoe and had the opportunity to bring my husband this summer. I asked for the best and was extremely disappointed in what we got. The unit was disgusting - absolutely filthy! I actually brought a towel from the bathroom to put on the love seat. Yes, love seat, for a three bedroom rental there was... More

We come to Tahoe for winter sports all the time; but its been decades since we've visited Tahoe in the summer. Tahoe Keys Resort was the perfect host for our new venture. Plenty of homes to choose from. All properties had their own docks outside their backyard, so 'yes,' all of a sudden, i wanted to own a boat! Most... More

Tahoe Keys have some nice homes and condos and then some unclean, filthy, dirty condos and homes. We rented a condo for a week in July. The carpets were so filthy, stained and dirty that we ran out to the store and bought our whole family slippers to wear when they were in the condo. I cringed every time my... More

Rented a cabin off of Clement Street this last weekend for a Bachelorette party. Beautiful cabin but it was a hot weekend (high 80's/low 90's all weekend) and this cabin has NO A/C. None of their cabins do (I learned this from another renter complaining when I turned in the keys.). There were no dishtowels in bathroom or in kitchen,... More

Stayed in unit backing up to marina and boat docks. Average condo, nothing fancy. 1 bedroom, loft, 1.5 bath. Condo was ok. I guess my issues are with the management. Cleaning fee is not part of rental. Use of the amenities (such as the pools) is not included and is a seperate charge. Parking is supposed to be garage +1.... More

*The cabin we rented was not a cabin, but in fact a small house. (misleading) *The hot tub was broken *There were a number of screens missing from the windows that were missing. With no ac, this was a huge problem with the extreme heat. *They rationed "ONE" towel per visitor. Unbelievable. *The couch and the chair seats all had... More
