We made numerous ski trips to South Shore Tahoe this winter and each time we stayed at the Blue Lake Inn. We have stayed at other places in the past but this is by far the best value. Great access to the Gondola - only 1 block away. Comfortable and spacious rooms with nice outdoor hot tub. The staff are... more

Definitely my choice of hotel. Clean, comfortable, and friendly helpfull staff. Located one block from gondola and one block from casinos. Very reasonably priced, with microwaves and refrigerators in rooms. more

I had the opportunity to stay at the Blue Lake Inn in South Lake Tahoe. It was a very pleasant stay, the Inn's lacation is perfect, the room clean, the rates very resonable and having a refrigerator and microwave in every room allows one on a budget to stretch their dollar. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and accomadating. If... more

The room smelled. Staff was not attentive and lacked customer service. The bathtub did not drain well. The beds didn't seem like they cleaned from previous guest. Stay away from this place. more

I went to Blue Lake with a big group, and it is really is the most basic of hotels. Great for people who are not planning to be in their rooms much but out on the slopes and at restaurants, but it really was not a very good expeience there. Some days we returned from thje slopes in the evening... more

I stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday night in August. The hotel is a short walk to the casinos and right across the street from Heavenly. Free wifi, but the free breakfast was the worst I've ever seen-think dollar store danish and apples. I ended up just going to a nearby restaurant. Basic accomodations, clean, but not fancy by... more

My girlfriend and I took a quick trip up the hill from Sacramento. We stayed in a room with two queen beds. It was a very nice place with lots of families with kids swimming. The room we had was exactly what we expected and the price was fabulous. I would recommend this place for anyone that wants a nice... more

Our family has been staying in South Lake for over ten years, we have satisfactorily stayed at the Holiday Lodge for the past five years. So I was bummed to learn that it had been torn down, but they left a referral for the blue lake, what a mistake. We arrived past midnight, there was no one at the desk,... more

I travel to South Lake Tahoe alone, so when I am there I do not know anybody. I found The blue Lake inn By chance! I used Cheap Tickets .com. Because I do not know anyone there, the trip can get a little lonely. A worker there by the name of DON really made me feel at home with his... more
