We had a tastefully furnished townhouse with a deck and beautiful view right on the lake. There were eight adults and a baby and we had plenty of space including a well stocked kitchen, large dining area, clean and large bathrooms (including a tub in master bath), and large screen tv in living area and some of the bedrooms. The... more

Hotel location was wonderful a lot of things to do within short distance or walking. We reserved a 1 bedroom in the lodge. We were given one bedroom with a loft. The room had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again . The only bad thing is the street noise but we were pretty tired from hiking that... more

This was our last night from our 6 day trip. The location is beautyful right at the lakefront. The buildings are in a good condition. Plenty of free parking. We had a one bedroom studio with a loft. The studio was perfect in terms of size, furniture and equipment. Fully equipt kitchen with everything you can image. The loft is... more

We just returnd from Lakeland Village. This was our 3rd trip to this resort, once again, we had a great time! We rented a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath unit, located very close to the lake (maybe a 1 minute walk, at the most). Our unit was clean, decorated very nicely, flat screen TV's in the living room and both bedrooms.... more

Had a great time at Lakeland Village with my friends!... The townhouse we were in was big and recently remodeled with flatscreens, a new kitchen and bathrooms. We were only a few steps from the water and a short free shuttle from the casinos. more

My husband and I stayed in South Lake Tahoe and we loved our experience at Lakeland Village. Our townhouse was beautifully remodeled and the lake was just steps away. We plan to come back in January to ski and enjoy the lake again. I would definitely recommend this resort. more

Stayed in 3/2 lakefront townhouse for two nights in Oct. 2009 Safety and Security - rear sliding glass door did not lock (latch broken and even if the latch were not broken the type of latch used did not appear very strong). As an accommodation(fix) to the poor latch a thin aluminum pry bar has been installed. Needless to say,... more

Thank you for your valuable feedback. Please accept my apologies for the issues you described during your recent visit. Though our lakefront units such as the one in which you stayed in are spectacular and receive rave reviews, we certainly did not meet these expectations with your visit. I have already spoken to our staff and we have remedied all...

I cannot say enough bad things about our recent experience here. Not only did we have one of the loud, out-dated rooms in the lodge like other reviewers mentioned - but we had a bat fly right in our room through through the screen door we had just opened. The room did not look very clean and the swimming pool... more

The resort itself is very nice, with a beach on the lake, pool, and large rooms. However, we rented a one bedroom unit in the Lodge, and will never do that again because of the noise. The room faced the road (the main road through South Lake Tahoe) and the traffic noise was extremely loud. Plus, we were on the... more

Great location, its own beach, shuttle service, near resturants and a great Safeway market. Really nice folks that have great attitudes. Townhome was very nice, 2 bedrooms with a loft, good well-equiped kitchen, big screen TV in living room. Every place looked different, all privately owned I was told. Parking lot nearby had some loud folks that were having lots... more
