I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It started when we arrived and had to get our own bags out of the car and onto a cart as the valet's were too busy chatting with each other to help us, but then had their hand out for a tip when they came to park the car. And anytime we... more

We stayed at this Embassy Suite many times, as the location is great for skiing at the Heavenly ski resort. But our last stay was disappointing, and shall really be our last. The front desk people were simply rude and unhelpful. They only allow valet parking (I don't remember that this was the case during our previous stays), which was... more

While this hotel does have its drawbacks; some of the rooms are worn, and the housekeeping staff leaves something to be desired, the guest services people are wonderful. The front desk staff are poliite, warm, friendly, everything you would hope for at a Hilton Property. Even the woman that answers the phones for guests and the public was outstanding. The... more

We always enjoy staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and offer many ammenities. Their breakfast consists of many selections no matter if you prefer a hot or cold meal. Their staff keeps the tables and eating area clean. The staff is friendly although we found they were a little too eager to clean our room the day of... more

We stayed here for one night with my parents-in-law on a tour through California. The place was hard to find - its tucked up the side of Harrahs - and it is VERY noisy with extremely thin walls. We were given premium suites on the 9th floor; the problem is that the indoor atrium acts like an amplifier/echo chamber and... more

Love visiting Tahoe, like the Embassy Suites location and had a decent room. The customer service was poor this trip; room wasn't ready until after 4pm check in and so switched to a room with no view. more

We have stayed at this property twice. We travel a lot and usually have our two young kids with us, so we book suites whenever we can. Embassy Suites has consistently good service and comfortable accomodations - we always feel at home there. On this particular trip, we requested a corner room (always do this - usually the corner suites... more

We had 3 nights here as the 2nd stay in a 7 venue circuit that took in San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Bakersfield, Palm Springs, Anaheim and Beverly Hills. Driving in to South Lake Tahoe at first gave us one of those "oh no" feelings. Nothing but a long road with lots of obscure diners and lower grade motels. However,... more

After one of the worst airline experiences of our lives (separate seats, late flight, lost luggage) followed by discovering several errors in our “package” (pre-paid ski rentals were paid for but weren’t in the rental agencies system) we found dealing with the Embassy Suite’s management nothing short of a pleasurable experience. The management and staff went out of their way... more
