Great location steps from casinos and Heavenly. Breakfast is killer. Pool area is nice but often gets busy after a day on the slopes. Housekeeping kept a room of four men spotless. They should add 2 bartenders to happy hour which by the way is 2 hours of free drinking. Need I say more? more

We spent 4 nights there on Hilton Honors points ( coudln't have afforded it otherwise!). Great location, near the Heavenly gondola, made skiing very easy. Really big Embassy Suites, and tons of kids (President's Day weekend), which I expected. Standard breakfast. Great evening reception. As other reviews stated, we parked next door at Harrah's with no problems. I was pleasantly... more

I'll try to highlight and go straight to the point. Just got back from "ski week" with my wife and we had a pretty good time. The hotel check-in was smooth and friendly. Hotel is huge with pool and hot tub on second floor. Too many kids though! Concierge service was great and we got hooked up with 10% discount... more

Staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. I ordered a romance package and they decorated the room beautifully with rose petals and sent up champagne at the time I requested, so it was waiting for us when we got back from dinner. I was expecting a little more from the suite itself for the price. I was under the... more

We just stayed here for three days(me, my husband and 3 kids ages 7, 11, 13) and this place was perfect. It was a bit spendy at around $250 a night, but I felt it was well worth it!! The service was great. We pulled up after a long day of skiing and there were nice people waiting to open... more

Our ski trip to S. Lake Tahoe was during the MLK holidays but we arrived on Sunday and stayed till Tuesday. We booked the hotel about 2 weeks prior to departure with a special promotion rate. So, the price per night was below $200 before taxes+fees. I would say the price is decent when you consider the location, the services... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days starting on Christmas Day. I was with my wife and our new born (6 months) for his first snow trip. It's very easy to find being on Lake Tahoe Blvd right on the state line. It is very convenient for gambling since Harrah's is just across the driveway (Harveys is across the... more

We chose Embassy Suites, because of its price ($200 per night when I was flexible with the weekend dates) for a 2 room suite, and we were pleasantly surprised with the added perks (Free Hearty Breakfast, Washer and Dryer on Every floor, and Free Evening drinks from 4:30 to 6:30). The valet fee is bogus during non-winter stays, but there... more

My husband and I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Lake Tahoe for one week in January 2010. Overall, we were pleased with the stay, and found that the hotel offers everything you need for a ski vacation. Positive notes: the room rate includes a varied breakfast buffet each morning and manager's reception in the evening; rooms are large and... more

Off season! Stay was over Thanksgiving Week! Hotel has one of the best locations by the Casino's and in Village like area. Did not like the mandatory $25/ day Parking Fee. Wish they had an off site alternative for complimentary parking. Restaurant was open Thanksgiving, great meal for decent price. more
