Stayed here for two night s for a work trip. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The room is really spacious and the cleanliness is superb. Very close to great restaurants and the shopping village. Will definitely come back here. Electric blankets and dressing gowns are a nice bonus too. Good heating with a heat pump, much needed as... I had a very comfortable stay at this location recently. I stayed here on a work trip and was very happy with the size of the room and the comfortable bed. When I arrived the man on the desk was very helpful and seemed concerned that I should be warm enough in my room as the weather wasn't great at... More

We stayed here over Easter and were really impressed with our studio room with spa. Much appreciated after a long days biking. Very quiet despite the complex being full. Glen was a very accommodating host including sorting out a panel beater on Sunday when we had a minor vehicle problem. We will be back!

Our group of seventeen family and friends have just stayed at Te Mata Lodge over the weekend, while visiting the area to participate in a cycle tour around the local vineyards. The owner Glenn made organising our accommodation over the internet very easy and we appreciated his kindness when we arrived, as he organised our many bikes to be stored... More

Large spacious rooms, very clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom products, lots of extra towels, a one minute walk to shops, cafes and dining. Helpful staff. Only complaint was the strong smell of cleaning products.

Fantastic place to stay, the wow factor being your own spa pool. We ended up staying 2 nights in the end. Glenn is a superb host let us keep our bikes in his garage and even helped us phone the UK. The studio is spotless, comfortable and loads of room. Couldn't fault anything.

The motor lodge is in a great location. The owner could not have been more helpful. The air conditioner was very noisy. The tub was quite slippery and you had to be careful, but the shower was wonderful and the jet tub, once in, was very nice. We did have some problems with roaches, but the owner said they would... Stayed here one night while visiting family. Great location, easy walk into village. Decor of rooms was a little dated. Was quite cold. We stayed in July and only heating was a noisy fan heater built into the wall. Heated the room ok but was so noisy we had to turn it off to sleep. There were no extra blankets... More

We stayed at Te Mata Lodge whilst attending a conference. Glen, the host, could not have been more helpful. The room was very spacious, the bathroom was clean, but the little touches were what I appreciated most. There was a flannel in the bathroom marked "make up" and packaged make up remover wipes. A nice touch, encouraging the ladies to... More
