Friendly owner, clean and tidy suites, huge comfy bed and love the big spa bath ( we had the deluxe studio). I stay here for work as well, and have always been impressed with the place as a good solid motel to stay at. This time around it was very noisy because of the building work going on across the... The Lodge is located right next to the shops making it a great base for a stroll out for brunch etc… The room was large, clean, and the bed was awesome. I didn't make use of it but the spa bath looked great too. Unfortunately there is ongoing construction just across the road which was incredibly noisy. If you plan... More

We had a function to attend nearby and as we preferred not to drive, chose this motel...perfect. We were within easy walking distance to Village but it was also quiet. The room was large and spacious, even though a spa pool in the corner... bathroom also although that needed a tiny bit of paint touch-up. The bed huge and comfortable... More

Just few steps from the centre of Havelock North, it has nice rooms with a huge spa bath (looks like more a spa pool!) right in a corner of the room, perfect for relaxing a bit before going off for dinner in one of the many restaurants around. Rooms have a full kitchen too. Very good value for money and... More

We had a studio room which was very clean and spacious. Originally we had an upstairs unit but as we had out 11 week old son with us I asked if we could swap to a ground studio (due to all the additional luggage!!) The room was very spacious and there was plenty of room to put up the portacot.... More

Very impressed with room facilities...especially own spa. If only we had the time to use it! Would definitely stay here again. Nice and close to shops, very clean, helpful staff, big and comfortable bed.

We arrived to be told to expect a storm in the next day or two. Well we knew it was windy as we were on the top floor with a balcony facing north. The wind was about 60km/h and to our surprise it was warm. The storm duly came and went on the second night and we didn't even feel... More

Stayed here for two night s for a work trip. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The room is really spacious and the cleanliness is superb. Very close to great restaurants and the shopping village. Will definitely come back here. Electric blankets and dressing gowns are a nice bonus too. Good heating with a heat pump, much needed as... I had a very comfortable stay at this location recently. I stayed here on a work trip and was very happy with the size of the room and the comfortable bed. When I arrived the man on the desk was very helpful and seemed concerned that I should be warm enough in my room as the weather wasn't great at... More

We stayed here over Easter and were really impressed with our studio room with spa. Much appreciated after a long days biking. Very quiet despite the complex being full. Glen was a very accommodating host including sorting out a panel beater on Sunday when we had a minor vehicle problem. We will be back!
