What can I say it was wonderful place to relax and spend time with my husband. We had a great room, with a lovely outlook and a great bed. Spa and hot tub were both great!!! We only stayed 2 nights both wished it was more. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be going back ourselves.

Had a great few days staying at St Andrews Escape. I highly recommend the very communal venue - its a great place to meet other visitors who are also staying, whether at breakfast, or around the fire, or in the lounge. Lovely breakfast, along with making use of the bikes that are available for guests made for a good value... More

If you're looking for peace and quiet and a relaxing place to stay. This is it. Beautiful setting. Great rooms. I stayed here for two nights and I would love to come back to stay again. Would definitely recommend this place. It has lovely views with the gardens. And the amazing hot tub is such a great touch. The room... More

Everything about this accommodation is just right. The rooms look both ways in to a lovely garden and are furnished tastefully with good beds and linen. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. John ( the host) was charming and helpful and obviously a fantastic gardener! A great find if you are staying in the Hawkes Bay.

We found the accommodation very comfortable. A nice hot-pool in beautiful stretched out gardens. The location is great in the middle of orchards and very close to wineries and the beach. Our hosts were very friendly and did everything to make our stay even more enjoyable.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in Dec 13. St Andrews is in a beautiful and quiet location, set at the end of a long private road with wonderful gardens and a large pond, surrounded by fields and vines. Our particular room was a little cramped (we booked only a day or 2 before arriving and so... More

From the very moment you pass through the gates, you are drawn into the oasis, that is St Andrews Escape, hidden amongst winding bike lanes, and seas of fragrant fruit of Havelock North boasts this tranquil, but sophisticated hide away, wrapped in a garden that inspires a sense of calm and adventure. Achitechilly appointed, rooms and structures blend in harmony... More

I don't like to use that word 'inspirational' too often but I can't think of another word that expresses. Driving through the entrance takes you into another world with orchards, a winding river dotted with ducks, and layers of gardens you can get lost in. Every corner you turn takes you to another secret spot with its own character. I... More

This is a lovely estate that provides a good base for local activities as well as providing tranquility and relaxation. The rooms are clean and provide sufficient space; the garden is beautiful and has lots of interesting nooks and crannies. We certainly enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine in the jacuzzi as well as lounging in the sun... More
