Having just spent a fortnight staying here, I wouldn't hesitate to use again. The owner Richie was the most obliging and friendliest host of any hotel i've stayed in, and i'm used to staying in a lot of hotels. The owners were so helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Good clean rooms and wifi through out.... More

Think this is the 3rd or 4th time i've stayed here and again the service just gets better with each visit. Unfortunately, I arrived late and was expecting the specials to have all gone, but no, as they knew I loved the lamb here, they had one to one side. Suddenly a 3 hour drive from Glasgow to here along... More

Stayed on business for just one night but an extremely friendly reception, nice room and simply fab locally sourced food. The is no O2 mobile reception but wifi is provided. Parking is at the rear of the building and seems to be plenty of parking available. Food, the meat is great value and I had 3 large lamb chops, extremely... More

This hotel is first class. The staff and owners make you feel like one of the family and nothing is too much trouble. I stayed for two weeks and had a great time. The food is delicious and the company warm. Highly recommended.

I have stayed here a few times over the last year or so, very friendly staff and owner that couldn't of made me feel more welcome if they tried. The food was of a very high standard and incredible value, not sure I've ever had a better steak and meat balls were exquisite. I'm a keen cyclist and there are... More

It is a family run hotel and they have always looked after me as if I was a member of their family. The rooms are clean and well looked after, the food is excellent and always... More

Stayed here for one night. Upon arrival there was no one around to check me in, even after ringing the bell, had to wait 10 minutes for someone to appear. When she did she was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are dated although clean. The bathroom was very clean and had a nice big shower. The dinner was average... More
