We ate in many places and this is by far the best place to eat in Taghazout! The staff are really friendly, the service is excellent and we loved sitting by the beach watching the sun come down. Lots of fun.

I stayed for a week at Surf Maroc L'Auberge, taking part in the "Surf Coaching" package and had an amazing time. Accommodation - my room was basic, but clean and comfortable. It had a great view over the beach, especially at sunset. The only downside was that, being so close to the beach, I was woken up early (around 6am)... More

Accommodation was good, but the surf lessons and other activities were hideously overpriced. More than 50 Euro for a day's group surf lesson is pretty extortionate, they were charging 3x the real price for the trip to Paradise Valley as well. Breakfast was really great quality, food in the restaurant is one of the best in town (although I got... More

Stayed here for 4 days before moving to the villa. Staff were all super friendly and made us feel at home straight away. Great place to stay and meet new people. Place was clean as well. Food - Breakfast was nice and filling but thought lunch was pretty small. Surfing all day makes you hungry and it just wasn't enough... More

Hi will_pountney, Thanks a lot for your comments, we loved having you guys here as well. First surf at La Source was pretty cool, and I know Ilyas enjoyed showing you his playground(s). The guitar-playing-rasta-wearing musician downstairs is all part of the experience!! I agree however that it's an acquired taste to get (or not...) The restaurant team will make... More

Three of us booked a ten day stay in April last year to improve on our Surfing. We would have have preferred the more quite Villa, where the yoga classes are offered, but it was fully booked at the time. The accommodation at L'Auberge was simple and the shared bathrooms not ideal, or what we preferred. Saying that, the Villa... More

I've stayed at the Villa before, so this was my first time at L'Auberge. It's sited next to the fishing beach so is slap bang in the middle of town - and handier for the other restaraunts and shops than the villa. Don't expect a lie-in if the fishermen are going out as they rev their engines at 7am sharp.... More

Unlike most guests I was fortunate enough to reside at the L'Auberge for 38 Nights so I was able to see first hand how hard working both Stefan and Santa worked week on week to accommodate the next 'wave' of guests. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcomed and was at complete ease from day one,... More

I can't recommend Surf Maroc highly enough! I stayed at L'Auberge in February and the Villa in January. Both are excellent, they have fantastic views over Taghazout and the rooms are clean, bright and simply but beautifully decorated. I have just returned to the UK after a 3 week stay at L'Auberge. I had a great time. The place attracts people from all over the world, many of whom return on a regular basis. Most, like myself are there to surf. L'Auberge seems to be at the centre of the social/surf scene there. I even spotted Dane Reynolds... More

Dear Daniel H, What a delight to read your review and see that what we try and deliver succeeds !! As you noted, L'Auberge is central to Taghazout, and becomes the "place to be" on many an occasion.
