We spent 2 nights at this beautiful bed & breakfast in early fall. Make sure you bring directions and keep an eye out for the sign if you're arriving in the dark, as it's quite hidden. We were greeted with great hospitality and a very clean and comfortable room with our own spacious bathroom. We awoke to the most amazing... More

We enjoyed 3 great days at this lovely Bed&Breakfast. Spacious, new and very niced furnished rooms and a superb breakfast! You also might purchase some vegetables from the organic garden, very delicious. It's a 15min drive to Penticton, the house is reached by a short gravel road off from Hwy 3a. Driving down the small valley you realize that you... More

This was my second stay at Phyllis's beautiful nature retreat, and it won't be my last. It really is something lovely. A great host, a comfortable room with a lake view, and great coffee! What more could you ask for?? How about an amazing property to explore and wander about in. Birders and general nature lovers will be surprised by... More

Mountain Springs Nature Retreat was our first experience with bed and breakfast and one of the nicest. When you arrive, you are not sure, whether this is real or not. The house is located in a forest with its own lake. The rooms are very nice and clean. It is a very nice place to recover on your vacation. It... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the retreat - and it was a retreat in every sense of the word. A quiet break from a busy trip and we were given great hospitality and room to explore by ourselves. An excellent combination. We were made to feel at home and Phyllis was a wonderful host. We'll be back.... and I'll... More

Mountain Springs Nature Retreat is not easy to find at first--we zipped past the one sign and had to double back. A winding dirt road takes you to the valley bottom and the lovely setting for the lodge. Phyllis's garden is beautiful, with lawns and flowers leading down to the lake, and her organic vegetable garden provides much delicious produce,... More

We were warmly welcomed by Phyllis into her home and her passion the moment we arrived. This Maron Lake retreat is a thing of beauty you have to see to believe. Not only were we welcomed, but clearly the wildlife were enjoying the protection afforded in a way that only a true nature lover can provide. Perfectly situated, you can... More

I agree with the previous review - this is a very, very nice place. The spacious house is full of corners to explore and comfy places to settle with a book. The sloping lawn leads to a quiet, essentially private lake. The lake is small and warm in the summer, and I wish we'd had time to borrow the canoe... More

This is a very very nice place. My husband and I spent 3 nights at Mountain Springs Nature Retreat, 15 minutes from Penticton, 5 minutes from Okanagan Falls. Phyllis (the owner) is a great host and those blueberry muffins she baked for us for breakfast were delicious. She took care of us by recommending us places to go to and... More
