I have stayed here 3 times in the last 6 months, all on business. Service is ok, staff can be brisk but reception was efficient. Rooms are clean. Plenty of parking. Hot water system in the hotel is flawed; in all three different rooms I have stayed in the shower would pulse with extremely hot water and scald. The shower... More

We recently stayed here for the evening as my father in law was celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary. From start to finish a pleasant experience. Bar staff were second to none on the night nothing was to much trouble. We chose to go for the king size bed in our room and weren't disappointed a fabulous nights sleep. Food was... More

My wife and I must congratulate this establishment. The Hotel is firmly fixed into the early years of aviation, but is right up to date. There is one word of caution however, and that is if you are not disabled in any way, try to avoid being given a room for the disabled. The only reason for stating this is... More

Organised party for my wife last Saturday all went perfect. Enjoyed lunch sandwich whilst setting up the decorations in the party room everything from that point on went very well. Buffet for the party was all prepared well, presentation good, hot food was perfect and most of all served HOT. Many guests including my wife and I stayed at the... More

To start with it is a great Art Deco venue with lovely surroundings and it's nice to sit outside to watch the planes land and take off. But trying to get served was painful, the queue was 5 deep both sides of the bar when I arrived and ten deep when I left, the staff that were there didn't seem... More

fabulous, if you want a change from the plastic chain hotels look no further.. 1920's Artdeco converted aerodrome.. decor was awesome, staff friendly and proud to be different.. only stayed the one night with a late arrival and early start for business so I can't vouch for the food but the room was clean and bed comfortable.. would return and... Doing business in Wellingborough looked to book into one of those 'chains' but all were full. Advised by a guy at work to try this place and what a result!! Warm clean spacious rooms with good facilities matched by great value and tasty menu in both bar & restaurant (tried both!). Matched by excellent bar with good range of hand... More

If you like aviation or are there for the airfield (I was) then it's an opportunity to stay at this art deco gem. Well, not exactly a gem and that's the negative. There's a difference between casual and unprofessional and this stepped over it too often. I'd stay there again because of convenience but be aware if you're going there.... More

Stayed here for one night on business early this month. Room was nice and everything needed for one night, only problem I found was that the floor boards in the room and hallway were creaky. As there was also a wedding on the same night a few of the guests were making there way back to their rooms late and... More
