Ndali lodge is not the most convenient for spending a day with the chimps in Kibali but it's well worth the hour's drive to get there. The location is fabulous on top of the hill with magnificent views to both sides (one of the nearby views is reproduced on the 20,000 shilling note). The rooms are lovely, the food is... More

I stayed in Ndali Lodge for two nights last week. It is a beautiful lodge with lovely staff always willing to help you. The food was great and my room lovely. The dogs there were very friendly. I took dog chews with me as I had read about them being there. They were well appreciated. I would love to return... More

We spent three nights in this lovely place, and we enjoyed both the setting and the food, which was well above african lodges standard. However we have experienced little attention to some of our needs and an overall suboptimal organization. The lounge is nice but not large enough to accomodate comfortably all the lodge guests

Arrival at Ndali lodge and you are met in the parking lot and helped with your bags. The food was great for all meals....and i was continually asking for seconds especially the desserts. Aubrey and Clare and all their staff were attentive and willing to attend to special requests. I travelled with my girlfriends for a weekend away and it... More

This is a great place with very nice staff. They have good food with a communal table for dinner. Nice opportunity to meet other travelers. Friendly dogs, if you are allergic to cats beware ask prior to booking. Nice pool, beautiful views of lake. Claire was great as well as William. You have to charge all electronics in the office.... This felt like staying in someone's home, in both good and bad ways. The owner's father grew tea up here for many years, and then later created this Lodge. Fantastic location, perched on a hill looking at a crater lake. Lovely bandas, decorated in quirky ways. Very informal and casual, good food, all by candlelight. Bo is the charming manager.... More

- The views of the lake and the sunset are spectacular. - The staff/ owners were friendly, knowledgeable, hospitable, etc... (were willing to serve us an extremely EARLY breakfast) - The food was amazing! - Power and Wifi are only available during the day (solar powered) but not an issue since I needed a break :) - Lodges sit RIGHT... This was our daughter's choice of stay for 3 nights over Christmas 2013. We immediately loved the place and as already commented, Aubrey and his Team did just what was necessary to make you feel at home without being too intrusive. We were in lodge 7 and the comments about the carpark and its hangerounds is seconded (they could also... More

This really is the ultimate place to stay in Uganda if you want comfort, beauty and to be made to feel at home. The service is attentive and the staff clearly enjoy their jobs and the food and wine are excellent.

The location and views at Ndali lodge are genuinely stunning perched on a ridge with the beautiful lake on one side and the lovely view down the valley on the other.
