Booked into hotel at 10pm very tired from driving. OK first impression, however we were given the box room, so small the double bed was pushed against the wall. Bathroom was a like a built cupboard in the corner of the room and was so small it didn't even have room for a bath, plus the radiator was rusty. Sorry... More

Room was small with sloping ceilings at either end; I could only stand up in the centre of the room. The TV was at least 16 years old, a tube unit with a picture so fuzzy it was laughable. The wardrobe was half height; no use for full length garments. Desk was unusable as it was under the sloping ceiling.... More

We visited the venue without reading any reviews and fell for the charm of the building, the beautiful gardens and the tranquil atmosphere. Vipul, the owner, spent a lot of time with us on the initial meeting running through an organised set of questions, showing us round the building and also showing a presentation of photos of other weddings and... Stayed at this hotel for the weekend with husband and young daughter. The exterior is very impressive and set in nice surroundings. Staff were very welcoming and approachable. We had the Junior suite as we wanted a separate living space for after our daughter went to bed. This worked well for us. The room was on the top floor in... More

A bit late I know...however we went to The Grange Hotel for Christmas Dinner 2014 and it was the first time any of us had eaten out on Christmas day, we were a bit apprehensive....BUT, The service, the décor, the meal, EVERYTHING was amazing, we were so happy we chose the Grange. I would highly recommend going at any time... More

Only book this hotel if you are after a room that is over priced and you are the height of a hobbit! Small rooms, dirty with a musky, dusty smell to it, found hair is the shower - clearly wasn't cleaned properly neither was under the bed as I found old deodorant cans. Bed was rock solid and also had... More

I had stayed here before, a long time ago and forgotten about it until I set out to find it. I'm good at visual clues to destinations I have visited infrequently. This time I had to go outside and up some iron stairs to my room. Which was a bit strange because the hotel was almost empty. At breakfast the... More

A group of 17 of us went here for lunch. We didn't know beforehand what was on the menu so were slightly disappointed that there were only 3 choices including a vegetarian meal for the main course and 3 desserts. Tea or coffee were included. The staff were very attentive and we received proper 'silver service' treatment. The food was... More

We attended a family wedding and stayed over night as we live a distance from the venue. I thought it was rather expensive for a double room £115 but as it had been chosen for the wedding reception I thought it would be worth it. I was wrong. The venue itself looks lovely, very picturesque and the photos for the... More

My son and now daughter in-law booked this Hotel for there wedding venue. I last visited the Grange Hotel in 2002 and was family Owned, Time has now moved on and the Grange looks the same as it did then, very charming building. First the not so good points. The decor is dull and really needs attention. The staff where... More
