We stayed two nights at the Edgewater and it was better than okay due to its great location. It was very easy to walk along the waterfront, or take the trolley, or enjoy downtown Whitehorse. The rooms are comfortable with a frig and coffee maker but no microwave. The hallways and rooms were very clean but the bathroom is a... More

I was excited to visit the Edgewater restaurant after being closed for refurbishment for many months..Yuck, what a disappointment. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, the chicken was negligible in quantity, tasted fine but not worth the cost of the extra $6.00..The salad was a disaster, the romaine lettuce was yellow and well past its due date. Granted... More

The one thing this hotel has going for it is its location. It would have been nice to know that there are no eating facilities in the hotel until May. No where on website is this conveyed. Pop machine not full as stay progressed less to choose from. Rooms we're extremely hot even with window open and fan on. Very... More

Did a recent hunting trip into the Yukon Territory. Outfitter recommended the Edgewater hotel as a place to overnight. Very good, clean, functional accommodations right downtown. Friendly staff, stored excess luggage until my return trip. Good place to stay!!!!

My boyfriend and I had a room on the main floor with a double bed and sitting area. The room was slightly dated but very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable with high quality sheets and duvet. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Right across from the water front and a great funky cafe, called Baked... More

We were very happy with this hotel as our choice for our last night in the Yukon after 4 weeks traveling in a motor home around the north. We chose it for its wonderful location near everything worth seeing in downtown Whitehorse. You can walk to the MacBride Museum, the trolley station that runs along the river is literally right... We were told this place was under new management and that things hadn't been straightened out yet. Maybe some of our complaints will be erased by improvements. Hardwood floor in our room with not even a rug. 7 parking spaces for 32 guest rooms. No CNN or Fox News channels, although I believe Fox News is not so popular in... More

The best thing about this hotel was "Baked" across the street. Also the tourist trolley and river side trails were on the other side of the street. The walls were very thin and we could hear the tv and conversations. The outlets were not working but the room was clean with room darkening blinds and the beds were comfortable .... More

The convenient location downtown Whitehorse by the river can't be beat but nothing special for the price. The hotel is getting a bit worn. Walls are thin, could hear talking and doors banging in the night.
