My suggestion - work on the interior first....let your guest recommendations (or Trip Advisor reviews) help you get customers. They were making updates to the exterior of the hotel...so hopefully - they will do the inside next. Take a pair of throw-away socks or flip-flops, the carpets need to be replaced or at least cleaned. There is no elevator -... More

This is an old property but they are working on it. The outside was being sided with neat wood shingles when we were there. I would think it would be better to start on the inside, but I guess first impressions are important. The carpet throughout the hotel is horrid!!!! Worse than any old movie theatre you've ever been to.... More

Overall its a nice hotel Clean Lots of amenities that are well thought out such as a fridge, and washing machines If there are kids trips staying at the hotel watch out for the internet Its not the hotel's fault - the more bandwidth given the more these kids would use their iphones and laptops to download moves - the... We liked this place. Very large rooms with differing facilities. It's about a 15 minute brisk walk into town- not too bad for North American standards. Our friend's room had a cooker, bed settee, fridge etc yet ours was more the usual large European type room. Premier Inn style describes the rooms best I think. Clean, although some mysterious stains... More

originally i was booked to have a campsite at a local campground, but didn't like how crowded it was. we drove around town and found the yukon inn. i'm pretty picky when it comes to where i leave my car, as some of the hotels/motels i saw in whitehorse looked pretty shady. the front desk was nice and they actually... Although I've stayed at the Yukon Inn several times in the past and found it acceptable, I was furious, when upon arrival this time they refused to honor my reservation. I had quaranteed the stay with a credit card and had a confirmation number. The General Manager agreed to give me their "last room" for over twice the price. When... More

I loved the carving in the headboard and other authentic First Nation artwork throughout this hotel. Everything-stores, restaurant- is close and convenient. Beds are comfortable and I fell asleep quickly. My room had blackout drapes which was good for the 24 hour daylight. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The conference room and food catered during our meeting were great. The... More

We reviewed hotels & motels in Whitehorse in various travel books and the Yukon Inn seemed to offer similar amenities to others at a lower price. However, maintenance was poor and design questionable. The inefficient AC blew directly on the bed freezing our heads while the rest of the room was stuffy. Noise from the hotel bar parking lot was... More
