Drove in from Haines, AK--arrived cold, tired and hungry. Tried one or two hotels that didn't impress or we felt were too expensive. Ended up at The Town and Mountain Hotel and were enchanted by the woman behind the desk--funny, helpful, smart--any good adjectives you could think of. We rented a room for two nights and were impressed. Not the... More

The rooms are clean and spacious. Free wifi and the kitchenette comes with fridge, coffee maker and microwave. There is no elevator though. The staff is kind enough to suggest the Best western next door but it was full.

Stayed four days in Whitehorse. Got a room with two queen beds. Pillow cases smelled like they had not been recently changed. Room was clean enough, with small kitchenette area (fridge, microwave oven). Central location at Main and 4th Av., quick walk to shopping and the Yukon riverfront area. Did not try the hotel lounge as it did not look... More

My first choice was the Best Western next door but they were full. I got lucky though cause I walked in and he staff were even friendlier than the staff at the Best Western and the rates here are much lower. I was given a AAA rate, lost of friendly advice. I stayed two nights and being the tourist constantly... More

We went up to Whitehorse to volunteer for the Yukon Quest in 2011 and in 2013 and stayed at the Town and Mountain both times. Nice big, clean room and well located as we didn't have a car. The room didn't have a hair dryer but the front desk just put one in our room when we asked for one.... More

We stopped in Whitehorse driving back from AK through the Yukon. We had forgotten it was Canada Day- all the other nice hotels were booked and this was what was left downtown. The rooms were surprisingly clean and decently appointed-microwave, coffee maker, TV, AC. I did have to get a hairdryer from the front desk. It is 3 floors, but... More

Stayed here on a business trip. Had to begin work very early in the morning. Was happy to get a 3rd floor room hoping that the noise complaint of other reviewers would be a nonissue. Was very disappointed to hear the blazing music even from the 3rd floor. The constant drum beat kept me up till past midnight. This hotel... More

I had to stay here s a lone female traveller on business as there was no other hotel available. From the thin doors with a turnkey lock, (which made me wonder who else had a key) to the fact that they sold offsales alcohol from morning til 11 pm at night at the front desk, I don't think they locked... I would first like to indroduce myself first as Kayle Fleming, the General Manager of the Town and Mountain Hotel. I feel this review needs some clarification on a few things. The doors to the rooms do not open with the turn lock, they open with a key in the doorknob. The door automatically locks behind you, as the turn... More
