I have stayed in many hotels in the north and this was outstanding. The staff were friendly & polite. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The hotel is a tour us stop, which made the lobby busy, but it was a happy noise. The price was great for the hotel, room, and staff.

This was one of our stops on a land tour with Holland America. Like most of the Westmark hotels we stayed at, this one has dated décor, but is relatively clean. The restaurant does allow for a la carte breakfast ordering (unlike the Westmark in Fairbanks). The hotel is close to restaurants. My only complaint is that after a 9... More

This hotel was our second stop on a three day journey from Seattle to Anchorage. As we walked up I noticed several intoxicated natives lingering by the doorway. I work in bush Alaska so this was nothing new. Inside the front desk girls were friendly and got us checked in. On the way to our room one of the staff... More

So we weren't planning to stay in Whitehorse as we drove to Fairbanks but as we pulled into Teslin for the night we realized we were in dire need of new tires(the alcan really eats up tires). The local mechanic unfortunately didn't have our tires so we limped our car into Whitehorse for repairs. Got a hotel at Westmark. Seemed... More

Not sure where to begin. Overpriced, I had to pay for wifi which did not work the majority of the night, staff was not friendly, restaurant food was awful and also overpriced, and there is no air!!! Wished I would have kept driving.

Once again, traveling to Alaska in the summer without reservations can be tricky. We arrived in Whitehorse after driving 800 miles and tried one hotel that was full and they were nice enough to call the Westmark who had 3 rooms left. We ended up getting an executive suite which was huge. Definitely an older hotel, but clean and nice... More

There isn't a lot of cities in the Yukon, Whitehorse is prob the biggest and have stayed here both going to and returning from Alaska. The town is old and a lot of history. I love photography so places like this are great for me. The motel is clean, staff was friendly and accommodating.... During summer the sun is still... More

Rooms are very small. You can't get a king bed. No air conditioning, only open your window relief. Staff are friendly. Seem to work at lots of different jobs, i.e. waiter in the morning, baggage handler in the afternoon, waiter in the evening.

Hi Chuck8700, You are right, our staff do like to work a lot. There are a few of our seasonal staff that come up for the summer and will work as many jobs as possible, as you noticied during your stay. I apologize if you did not get the bed type you wanted. We do have 180 rooms in the... More

This hotel has all you need in an hotel; just! It's clean, the rooms have comfy beds, the en suites are - erm - en suites. I read on TripAdvisor that you should aim to get an upstairs room, so I emailed my request a week ahead. No response, and when we arrived we found we'd been allocated a ground... More

Hi Ian W. I want to apologize for the delay in getting back you about your room request but I am glad we were able to accommodate you for your second visit. During the summer months with the Frantic Follies taking part within our hotel, our lobby, even though it is fairly large, does get extremely crowded with bus tours... More

We stayed here two nights, while visiting Whitehorse. It is centrally / conveniently located in the heart of the downtown district. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are nothing fancy or special, but they are clean & the beds are comfortable. There are lots of neat places to eat nearby and places to shop. A nice place... More
