Great location on Main Street in the centre of Whitehorse. Everything to see in the city is basically within walking distance - including the restaurants. There is free parking adjacent to the hotel. Our room on the 4th Floor was an up - grade. It was a decent size and contained a queen size bed, a desk and a fridge.... More

Traveling from Alaska back to Boston, we made the stop in Whitehorse. There seemed to be many local hotels but a lot seemed a little seedy. We found our was to the Best Western and they had a few rooms left. The room itself was nice enough, comfortable bed, clean. BUT this is a older building and the elevator must... More

We were very disappointed with this hotel. The room was dirty and in very poor state of repair. The cooling ducts made a huge amount of noise, so much so we couldn't sleep. When I called to ask if we could move room or get it fixed someone came up after 20 minutes and was completely disinterested and basically refused... More

There are no good hotels in Whitehorse, and this one is no exception. Old filthy carpets that were last replaced during the Gold Rush. Dusty rooms and noisy wood floors will transport you back to the 19th Century. The washrooms are from the 1980's. Noise insulation between rooms is below zero and the Internet service is horrible. Slow and a... More

No thrills but no spills at this typical Best Western centrally located hotel where we overnighted in Whitehorse. Our check in was friendly, the 2nd floor room spacious, the bathroom fine. We had free parking, good wifi, a microwave and fridge. Not exciting (nor is the town) but a good place to get a quiet night's sleep.

We arrived to find we were getting a room upgrade. We got a large room with nicer furnishings (a plus), but instead of two beds we had one (a minus). We always ask for a two-bed room so we can put one of our suitcases on one of the beds and don't have to bend down to get stuff out... More

Pretty good place to stay. Good location. Room is 3.5-4 stars compared to south, which for here is pretty good. Have stayed in 3 other good (top 5) hotels here, and this is the best room I've had. Clean, relatively well furnished, good bed, linens, bathroom, TV, very acceptable. No question, elevator sucks, and food at the pub is only... More

Stayed at the Gold Rush while in Whitehorse on a work trip. After viewing the other options in town this place is the best option. The lobby as some Yukon "ambiance" and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet.

My husband and I stayed for 12 nights and then another 1 night (after a night in Dawson City) before leaving for home. Fantastic hotel and staff. One of the best in Whitehorse. We expected the very best of Best Western service and quality and that's what we got. Excellent location with easy parking.
