Stayed various times, May 2013 most recent. Have stayed at a few places in Whitehorse, but this is my favourite hands-down, and is always my go-to "Home away from home". Building looks dated, but just wait until you get inside. Everything has been renovated and it looks very luxurious, from the front desk to your room. All staff have been... More

Not many options in Whitehorse for the weary traveler. Found this place in the Milepost and after 12 hours of driving, it was a delight. We looked at a few hotels downtown but there were lots of drunks and it was loud. This place was quiet and seemed safe enough for parking our car full of stuff. Beds were comfy,... More

We got the Presidential suite , which had a living room with fireplace, master bed room with fireplace that also heated the huge bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and a huge snow filled balcony , at little over $100 a night , only thing there is no elevators so it is a little struggle dragging bags up and down

My son and I stayed here for a week (7 days, 6 nights). It is near the airport and close to the Canada Games Centre, away from downtown but nothing is too far a drive in Whitehorse. The locals said this was a really old run-down hotel that had been re-done. I've traveled a lot and it is fairly good... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Skky Hotel for two nights in January and found it to be first-rate. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to make sure were comfortable, including arranging taxis, providing directions and supplying dishes from the restaurant for snacks my daughter had... My husband and I were in Whitehorse for our first time in November and stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We loved the fact that it was across from the airport and there was a shuttle bus that picked us up. The rooms are modern and the beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel is very clean and the staff... More

What a wonderful experience I had with the Skky Hotel. First, it is so close to the airport, you could walk (but I didn't because of the snow lol)! I was there on business and stayed 2 nights. The room was modern and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, I had to pull up the beautiful linens to see the... More

You're way better off to book a hotel in downtown Whitehorse. We spent a fortune on taxis. There isn't breakfast at the hotel so even coffee was a taxi into Tim Horton's. The girl at the desk was polite but unable to answer a single question and didn't even know what a roll-away bed or cot was.

Dear Mama20132014: Thank you for your review. I am sorry the location of the hotel was not to your liking. Most of our guests like the convenience of being across from the airport on the Alaska Highway with ample free parking and in a very quiet area. The downtown is a 7 minute and $10 taxi ride away and there... More

I was on business trip and reserved ahead. The room was ok in setup. But from the beginning it was so hot, no way to get a good sleep. We had to open the window, but the AC/Heater kicked in all the time. We ask the reception what can be done, she was friendly but not very helpful. After 2... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am sorry that you were disappointed because it was too hot in the room. In November, when you stayed, we had temperatures up to minus 30 and thus the heating system was responding accordingly. Opening the window just a little would have certainly immediately cooled your room, which apparently... More
