We stayed here for one night while traveling through. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the location we were in (across the street from the main building) was quiet. The decor and furniture was dated and I would class it as a minimalist hotel, but you get what you pay for. The breakfast was limited, but thankfully... More

We were unable to stay at this hotel, because their pet policy changed July 1st so at 11:30 pm after a long and tiring drive we had to find alternate accommodations. When we booked directly from their website and verified information about whether pets were allowed over multiple pet friendly websites - we were led to believe our Shih Tzu... More

Hello Danielle, We believe you are confusing our motel with a different one in Swift Current. First of all, our motel is a pet friendly property that charges $10 per night for guests checking in with their pet. We have never had any policy of charging $250 if guests bring their pet. Also, our evening shift is covered by a... More

The Thriftlodge wasn't too bad. Close to alot of amenities and right off of the TransCanada Highway. Good for a one night or two night stay and if you have pets. The only thing is there is an extra charge for pets that is not stated on the website or time of check in. There is only a sign that... More

Room can use some renovations. It was suppose to be non-smoking and just open the door you could smell it...not sure if it was from the room beside that was smoking one. Overrall the place was ok for one night stay. It was clean.

Overall an okay stay, nothing overly exciting. The room in general was nice and well kept. However, saying this I most state that the bathroom needs some much needed TLC, walls stained and paint peeling off door frame. I can't comment on the continental breakfast as Tim Hortons was right next door and that's where we ate breakfast. Big disappoint... More

The beds were soft and comfortable. We picked this place based on the price as we just needed somewhere to sleep. I am creeped out by most hotel bathrooms and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely loud so I couldn't bring myself to use the shower. The hotel can definitely use an upgrade but then you probably couldn't... More

Well, I can't say that I have ever had the fire alarm go off in a hotel after I used the shower before - but I guess there is a first time for everything... Apparently the bathroom is not adequately vented, because the steam from the shower caused the fire alarm to go off- not once but twice in one... More

We remember how your room’s fire alarm went off and our Front Desk Staff went in a hurry to assist you. We understand that you wanted to enjoy a hot bath with your girl friend after a long trip. However, if you keep the bathroom door open while running hot water, the steam fills the room where the alarm is... More

We picked this place based on price and previous reviews. The room smelled a bit musty and the WiFi wasn't very fast and we weren't even able to get into the first room we were assigned due to a broken lock(quickly resolved by being given a different room). Otherwise the place was pretty clean, close to the highway and inexpensive.... More

Our air conditioning stopped working overnight resulting in a warm night, difficult sleeping. Room 115. We forgot to report it. Door is also missing a chain lock.

It was a decent room for me and my dog. They had no issues with him being a great dane whereas most other pet friendly places do not allow him because of his size. The only complaint was the motel was basically empty but they bunched everybody in adjoining rooms so there was some noise.but not bad.
