Check in was quick, room was so-so but clean so no complaints. There was continental breakfast available and the place was pet friendly which was a major bonus for me. Also easily accessible from the highway.

Thank you for your review. We are becoming more pet friendly as we've taken carpets out of the main level and put in vinyl planks which are easier to clean, allergy and pet friendly and look a lot better. We look forward to hosting you again, In hospitality Travis More

Stayed here with my son for one night - I'm glad it was only for one - if it had been for more, I'd have left. The room didn't seem too bad when we checked in - on the surface everything seemed fine. It was in the morning that I noticed the following issues: -the bathtub had a ring of... More

We stayed for one night on our way through Saskatoon on a road trip. This property is located on a main highway through town, and is easy to find. Not much for ambiance or beauty, but it is serviceable and was well-priced. We had a room with a double bed and sofa bed. There was a wall between the sitting... More

I was traveling on a tight budget and so abandoned the company guidelines for hotels. The Saskatoon Thirftlodge was the cheapest option in Saskatoon, and so I booked there. There are a lot of positives for this property - easy access from major roads, easy parking, really polite staff (desk and cleaning). The people who work here are great. And... More

At first we thought Travis was the handy-man, found out later he was the owner.......a hands-on owner and it shows. Room was clean and comfy, motel is close and easily assecable to the city, but the fresh breakfast fruit needs work. This property will be awesome in a couple of years, thanks to Travis!

The Motel is okay if you are looking for an inexpensive option in Saskatoon, but you have to be aware that the dirt is piling up near to your room and it might also be quite noisy. It is close to a big intersection.

We didn't book ahead, so this was only pet friendly hotel we could find in our preferred area of Saskatoon. Very economical cost compared to typical hotel in the area. Room was small, dated, but have to say it was clean and had all basic needs. Has smoking rooms, so this can be annoying when those folks are lounging outside... More

The room was clean, some stains here and there. There wasn't much noise insulation so if anything happened outside near you then you knew about it. The only major complaint was the water temperature was temperamental. It was hot or cold and any in between was rare. Take quick showers basically. Breakfast was good though.
