My family of four stayed at this hotel with high expectations for a great experience, as the hotel came highly recommended and is given the same Canada Select rating as the Bessborough across the street. (our first choice, but no rooms available to accomodate our family) To say we were disappointed doesn't even begin to describe our frustration with this... more
you are crazy about spiders being in your bed, and you wanted to pay $250 a night. This would be the place for you. I stayed at the Sheraton Cavalier Hotel located on Spadina street in Saskatoon in May, 2008 and I found a large 8 leg black hairy spider waiting for me in my king size bed. As I... more
Location of this hotel is excellent. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are average, but the bed is perfectly comfortable. Lobby very busy at night, parking underground convenient. Dining room service was not very good. Business services are good. more
I travel to Saskatoon on business throughout the year and I prefer to stay at the Sheraton. It has underground parking, Starbucks coffee, and is withing walking distance to many restaurants and local shops. I've probably stayed there more than 20 times and only once I had an issue with a room and I was given a different room right... more
The Cav isn't ageing well. Rooms are small, bathrooms downright tiny. Generally dark with stunning alley and concrete views, unless you've booked into a river-view room and are willing to pay the price for it. We did. Checked into one of the two "club" floors, which included free parking and access to a club room -- a repurposed hotel room... more
My wife and I have stayed at this location on numerous occasions. Hotel - houses two restaurants which are both good depending on your taste/budget. The pool area is good, complete with water slides, hot tub and swimming pool. Location - excellent location downtown Saskatoon. Five minute walk to great Saskatoon shopping and additional restuarants. In addition the hotel is... more
A warm friendly hotel that I have stayed in many times. Rooms are very comfy and airy and if your lucky enough to get one over looking the riverbank, you have a great view too. There is a nice restaurant by the lobby offering good value meals all day and even a small Starbucks in the shop. The superb pool... more
I have stayed at this Sheraton several times so thought I would give a review. The building has seen some renovations but there are areas and rooms that are definately dated. There are many rooms that need a good makeover especially some of the bathrooms. They do have underground parking but if the hotel is busy..............not a chance ( your... more
Sept 17-22, 2006, I was booked into the Sheraton as part of the group. What a great choice of hotel. It is located 4 blocks from the downtown mall, Midtown Plaza, and 5 blocks from our convention site - TCU Place. The hotel itself is newer, clean, well run and right across from a park on the river. There are... more
