On our road trip from Ontario to BC, we tried to stay at various heritage hotels to get a taste of the old times. Delta Bessborough was definitely one of our favorites. The inside of the hotel is renovated beautifully, the room and the pool is clean, the GYM is large and the piano in the lobby is perfect for... More

So beautiful Castle hotel with nice park and river! very kind staffs, unique mood, most convenient location in Saskatoon. If you like antique fasion, you can find it here. However, one who has sensitive nose may feel a little unlike odor in the room.

Dear Alex K, Thank you for your review. I'm pleased that you liked our "Castle on the River" and our staff. Perhaps you could provide me more information on your comment about odour so that we can see that it is addressed. Sincerely, Andrew Turnbull General Manager More

We had a sister weekend in a river view room noted as a newly renovated room. The room had 2 queen beds and modestly furnished. The room was not room by all means. We squeezed around the beds however the bath was adequate. They had nice amenities in bath and than very limited for tea, coffee. The one night did... More

Dear hazzel-free, Thank you for choosing the Delta Bessborough for your sister weekend. Rooms are generally smaller in heritage properties however most find that the character and high ceilings compensate. Parking charges are consistent with hotels in the area and valet parking is always an option if you would prefer to have a staff member park for you. Again thank... More

They recently updated the rooms in this old beauty. The rooms are very comfortable and it's nice to have new carpet in the halls. It has a beautiful exterior in a fabulous location. The rooms are nice, although I have never been able to get a king size bed here. This is a non smoking hotel. Some one had smoked cigars... More

Last week we stayed at the Bessborough. There were two of us, we had 2 queens with a city view on the 4th floor, room 429 to be exact. The room was a perfect proximity for a beautiful city view, it was very large and very well kept. Not quite sure why, but there was not a bellman on duty... More

We visit our friends in Saskatoon a few times a year - and of course - want to stay in a hotel that is modern, updated with a clean and comfy bed. The choices in Saskatoon are limited, being a small city - so you really are left with two 4 star hotels. The Delta Bessborough and the James Hotel.... More

We enjoyed our visit to this beautiful historic hotel - a highlight of our trip to Saskatchewan. You could expect to pay over twice the price for a similar hotel in Vancouver or Victoria, so this was a real bargain. The front desk staff were friendly & helpful, giving us a corner room with a view of the river, and... More

The Delta Bess is a former CN/CP hotel and sits prominently by the banks of the South Saskatchewan. Inside are the amenities of all that you'd expect from a hotel of this calibre, from spa to conference facilities. Indeed, there was a wedding the weekend we were there. Our corner room featured two views of the river valley and the... More

The building is beautiful and is a destination in itself. The room we were given was surprisingly large as it has a large jut due to the architecture. Unfortunately, the shower was not draining and after the maintenance staff spent 20 minutes pulling extremely fouling looking material from the drain we were moved to a much smaller room. There was... More

The prices for hotels in Saskatoon do not vary like they would in a high traffic city like Bangkok or New York. The Bessborough is maybe double the lowest price places, but in another country, this hotel would be 10 times the cost of the lowest price places. The Bessborough is old, so the rooms are not huge and the... More
