I arrived a bit before the posted check-in time and my room was not ready yet. This is to be expected, but the person behind the front counter was not very pleasant. Not rude either. The loby was decorated nicely and had a cozy feel to it. I came back just after 4 and my room was ready and a... more

I stayed at the Sandman Hotel and Suites for one night while on a business trip in February 2009. I was in a Suite, with a sitting area and a bedroom area, and a small hallway in-between. While the room was reasonably comfortable, the two television sets were bulky and did not swivel. The bed cover was the old floral... more

Just returned from Canada. Went to an RCMP wedding in Regina. I booked a room for my wife and I at The Sandman on Victoria Avenue, by telephone. The hotel is easy to find. The hotel has a nice big car park, has a Moxies next door and Dennys is attached at the end of the Hotel. I found the... more

The rug around the bed, night stand and the mattress itself was filthy. The issue was brought to the attention of the staff but I will more than likely never stay at this hotel again. On the positive side, the staff were friendly at the front desk but I cannot get over the fact that the room was so dirty. more

I am one who has a terrible time getting a good sleep in hotel beds.. As a rule, I find the beds too hard and I toss and turn all night get ting very little sleep. I usually have sore shoulders when I wake up and a head ache the following day. A good sleep is important to me. The... more

Myself and a friend, her partner, and son stayed in a suite here in January of 2007 while in Regina attending an educational event. We are both working professionals that attend school in Regina part time and therefore need a hotel room once a month for a weekend stay. We stayed at the sandman a few months previously and had... more

The Sandman is apparently a chain across Western Canada. The Regina hotel is located on the Eastern edge of town and is a bona fide bargain. The hotel provided me with a clean room, amenities, free high speed Internet, free swimming, free gym and (through a limited time promotion) free breakfast at the Denny's next door!! All this for $125.... more

We stayed here for two nights. We may be biased because we stayed here to meet a pen friend of eighteen years we'd never met before so we would have had a great time whatever ! Despite that the hotel was good anyway. Great value for money - we had a suite which cost us less than a pokey room... more

THis hotel was more then i expected, the beautiful lobby area and nice rooms were plesantly surprising. The pool/hot tub area could be a little large due to the size of the hotel. The fitness area was also nice. Dennys is 24 hr and moxies was not yet open. If you are hungry and want a nice coctail / beer... more
