The positives - nice room, nice view, big lobby The negatives you should know: Don't believe them when they tell you there is wifi in every room. None in our room towards the end of the building, and others had this problem too. It is even spotty in the public areas. Avoid eating here if possible, especially the breakfast buffet.... More

Booked 3 nights with garden/Bay view. Check-in was friendly and efficient. Room on 3rd floor was gloomy because of the small window and the way the curtains were placed. The room itself was nice, large, bathroom was compact, with shower in bath and shower curtain. Asking reception if they could move us to a room with more daylight we learned... More

Recently spent one night at the Hotel Tadoussac on a road trip along the Cote Nord. Staying at the hotel is a trip back in time to the days of steamer ship travel on the St. Lawrence. As you stroll on the lawn of the hotel overlooking the river, you can easily imagine bygone days when ships stopped at the... More

Hotel Tadoussac is a charming hotel perfectly located at the St. Lawrence and Saguenay rivers. The hotel is quaint and has all of th amenities one could want. A tennis court, swimming pool (in season) a recreation room on the lower level. Great for relaxing.

Let me say it is expensive but romantic and I thing all you can eat breakfast was included.the hotel is ald and has a lot of character, it was very romantic and we went to see whales. We took the bigger boat but you probably see more from the small boats. We never even imagined that you can see whales... More

We enjoyed our stay in August. Whale watching was the highlight of course. The hotel is lovely, but the roof needs painting, the restaurant was overpriced, and the room décor was very motel like. We were on the second floor facing the water. Ask for a view. Huge difference. game rooms was old-fashioned and fun. Rooms were a bit warm.... More

We found there everything we were searching for. Just the roof should be re-painted red. It's turning more like pink by now and that was a disappointment vs the expectation from the pictures when booking. Out of that, small rooms old style, no airco which enforce you to sleep with windows open,... And guess what.... THAT is an Excellent thing... More

This hotel has been on our "bucket list" to stay at for many years now and we weren't disappointed! The area is such a historical area for Canadian history. The room was small but sufficient. The grounds were clean and very well kept. And the view.....WOW! We were thrilled to stay in Hotel Tadoussac and experience the ambience.

The location and the view of the hotel is nice but there are things to consider if you are more interested in the rooms than the facade. The hotel is extremely old and outdated in the inside. The moment you enter the room, it stinks musty or more like a toilet. It is not a kind of smell that you... More

It all started with the front desk .....they were delightful ......helped us poor hapless tourists no end with wonderful advice particularly about the the best time to view the whales was around the changing of the tide - priceless advice Thank you. The hotel itself is a grand old dame .....a little tired in parts but so much character !... More
