Our hosts were extremely helpful and entertaining. Room was very comfortable and breakfasts unique and delicious. Also helpful in making reservations for whale watching. Offered hats and gloves to fend off the cold.

My parents, my partner and I visited Tadoussac in September 2013. There wasn't too many tourists when we went so we really enjoyed the town and the whale watching was amazing, we got to see 3 types of whales and even seals! We really enjoyed our stay at "Le Roupillon" even though we only stayed one night. The hosts were... More

First of all, the city is very beautiful and we enjoyed our whale watching cruise. We were told that usually there are no more blue whales at this time of year. Therefore we felt fortunate to see one and very close. We stayed for two days and appreciated all the different restaurants that were suggested by our hosts for our... More

This place looked great on the web reviews +after emailing the couple. However, when we got there, we were given a basement room, muggy smell/over-air-freshened. basement room was nowhere advertised nor given as options when booking. Beds were terrible and very uncomfortable. Although breakfast was included, you have no choices - i.e., whatever the owner decides to make - and... More

Pros: rooms were clean, hosts were friendly and helpful; in particular the B&B is set up for kids, with themed rooms and a games-filled (pinball, XBox, billiards, etc) out back. The location is quite nice - set back from the main drag yet quiet. Breakfasts are quite satisfying. Then again, Tadoussac is not a big town so getting around is... More

We simply loved staying at Le Roupillon. Stephane and Joanne were attentive and thoughtful. Though we didn't speak French, they switch regularly to English to include us in conversations. We were able to book all of our tours with Joanne and the location of the B&B was so central and convenient, we parked the car and didn't move it until... More

When we arrived we were immediately enthusiastically welcomed by Jo-Anne and Stéphane, a young, energetic and funny couple. We were immediately overwhelmed by (useful!) information. Because the next day we wanted to do a whale cruise, we discussed with them what were the best options. They also made the reservation for us, and arranged another reservation when the first cruise... More

What a beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous house with hosts who are just so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were AMAZING especially the peanut butter cookies. We booked a whale watching tour through the B&B and this made it so much easier as we literally booked it 15mins before leaving. We also went black beat observing near Sacre Coeur which... More

We stayed here 2 nights on a family trip. The room was basic, but adequate. Bathrooms are shared. The main floor living room is very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent. The hosts were very helpful, suggesting things to do, places to eat, arranging a whale watching tour.

Having stayed at "Le Ropulin" for three nights I was very satisfied with the cleanliness and great location. Although the rooms are small they are very cozy and well decorated. Being located above "Le restaurant Roupillon' the noise is somewhat of a nuissance but usually the restaurant closes at around ten o'clock. I would highly recomend taking whale watching tours...
