This is a superb gem of a B&B on the outskirts of Sherbrooke about 50 miles from Montreal. We stumbled across it for a one night stay during a tour of quebec through the local Tourist Information Office. Domaine des Quatre Lacs is a very large modern house standing in its own extensive ground with, as the name suggests, 4 lakes. The leaves were turning while we were there and it was just stunning (see photos). The house itself is beautifully, and very artistically appointed with some superb works by the brother of the owner, a professional sculptor. We had a very large bedroom (one of five) overlooking the main lake and the use of an excellent sitting room (again, see photos). Lyne Caron who owns and runs the B&B is an excellent and most hospitable hostess and the breakfast she provided was unforgettable. All in all this B&B had just about everything, including free WiFi Internet. It was the best B&B we found in a 3 week tour of Quebec and at $99 (canadian) the best... more
