Spent a night with my wife and son, we had a very nice stay. The rooms were excellently decorated and the staff were very courteous. The pool and spa are awesome, the grotto is very unique in the area and an attraction with-in itself. Over all the rooms were very accommodating not to mention the free wi-fi internet and smoke... more

We were pleased with our room and the breakfasts served there - a bit disappointed that there was no lunch or dinner servce, but on balance were happy with our stay. There are still signs of ongoing renovations but all was quiet and well handled by maintenance staff. We would stay there again if the occasion presented itself. more

We were in eastern townships, Quebec last week-end to do some family bicycle and we decided to try the newly renovated "Le President". What a surprise to see the new rooms completly renovated with a lot of taste... If we would have only read the reviews from TA we would not have chosen that hotel because of the bad reviews.But... more

When you want a very good quality/price ratio near Sherbrooke it is the place to go. Service was fast and precise. The sunday brunch is excellent and not expensive. The hotel pool is a MUST with its SPA. I believe the management is behind a good service. When you want to be near the city and at the entry of... more

Wouldnt let me cancel with my money back even though I was not told about renos. Desk clerk was so rude. Didnt give a ---- just wanted my money. These people obviously do not... more

This hotel has to be in one of the worst conditions I have ever seen. The reason we were staying at this hotel in the first place, was that the track team manager booked a group of rooms for the track club my daughter belongs to. We were there for the Canadian National Junior Track & Field Champsionships. The Hotel... more

We were under repair at this time. But the situation was not that bad as desribed. We now have 80 rooms fully renovated that could be easily quoted as 4*. We also have upgraded the swimming pool area with an exotic hot tub very appreciated by our guests. Hotel Le President is the place to stay in Sherbrooke Best regards

So called improvement are going for months or what? That Manager was probably hiding somewhere since no one at front desk could receive my request. Service is non existant. Room are 25+ years old. Building is heavily crippled (as previous picture shows). Never ever again. Just a shame I didn't know about this site before, as reviews suggeste, I wouldnt'... more

Dumpy, moldy, musty room. I walked out after seeing the room and cancelled my booking. This place would be better for a low budget horror movie. A number of better choices are nearby. more

Hi! I stayed in this hotel for one night(I wouldn´t have stayed another one!!!)...the room was dirty, especially the beds, the shower didn´t work at all and the staff didn´t care about my complaints. There was a sign that the pool was closed due to renovations (for one week) but without a date. So maybe it is forever closed;-) I... more

The hotel is going through major improvement, by the time the picture was taken we were beginning... If you zoom-in at the white sign in the picture you can see (It is in french so I have to translate) : We are presently renovating. Thank you for your comprehension. Our rates at that time were reflecting the situation. Best regards...

I would have to agree with the review that said it was a good thing they stayed for only one day. I stayed one night with my mother and girlfriend, and thank god it was only one night. The room was disgusting. Try a Quality or Comfort Inn, at least they are clean. Every other place in Sherbrooke was booked,... more
