We rented an expensive "suite", which proved to be a regular room, with unfinished concrete ceiling, poor deco and just the basic equipment (plus a mini frigo, a mini sink and a microwave oven. Nothing to get exited about... The only good thing: a panoramic window with a very nice view over the Saint-François river ("Lac des nations"). Price: some... More

This hotel was recommended to us by Bishop's University, where our daughter is attending. It was a most wonderful surprise. The staff are wonderful, rooms/suites are outstanding and it has a terrific bar and complete breakfast included in the rates. We will continue to stay over the next few years as she finishes school.

This is a very modern hotel that you can tell is brand new and very clean. The rooms: -adequate towel supply -convenient shower shelves -plenty of storage space -high bathroom counter -deep sink -scenic river/lake view -amenities: blow dryer, microwave, fridge, iron + ironing board, LG television, complimentary wireless internet -the pillows aren't comfy, in my opinion -convenient reading light... The beds here are comfortable, nice soaker tubs in the basic rooms, a great location with a lounge downstairs for drinks in the evening. This is where I always stay when I come to Sherbrooke; it's a little more upscale than the rest, but we like it.

It was our first time staying at the Times in Sherbrooke. The hotel was quite impressive from the lobby area to our rooms (awesome view !!), the check-in was very quick and easy. We we're with a group of approx. 7 rooms and the payments were already arranged beforehand. The only issue I had was upon returning home and finding... More

Lets start with the positive aspects: the rooms on the lake have an excellent view worth the extra money (15$), they are spacious and relativley clean. If you like the urban (and somewhat cold) design style, it a nice place to be. Now the rest: we took a regular room with a view on the lake wich costed 200$/night after... More

It is located by a lake, the hotel is very modern. The decor is modern chic. The room are comfortable and clean. A continental breakfast is offered, which is nice. The hotel offers courtesy wireless and the service at front desk is professional. Here's my beef. The room has a fridge, which is nice but does not have an in-room... More

Something a little different here; ulta-modern decor, not 'flashy' but friendly, comfortable with good facilities. I've stayed twice and both were very positive. There are a number of room types - check details if you need things like in-room coffee machine etc. (There's not much available after 10pm).

We spent a weekend in August in this vibrant city, Sherbrooke. Our hotel, the Grand Times , faces the lake ,a fantastic view. The room was a suite decorated in the modern , boutique style; the small kitchen was appreciated for coffee making. They should, however, install a light in this area. The closet is next to the kitchen and... More
