This is the perfect place where to stay in Quebec City. The building by itself is fantastic and the owners paid special attention and respect while restoring/decorating it. Your jaw is going to drop when you enter this place. The flaboyant staircase and the living/dining rooms with their antique furniture are just amazing. Elegant and charming! The rooms are also... more

One visit will convice you. We have been at the Chateau twice now and we are in love with the place. The atmosphere and decor is simply out of this world. Of course the size of your room is matching what you are paying. I strongly recommend the large bedrooms and suite. I would recommend this place to all friends! more

This place looks good and photos and from the outside - but it's all smoke and mirrors. When you look at anything up close and in person it's just garbage. Everything looks like someone's shoddy art project - like the ``paintings`` or the ``stained glass``. You can tell that the ideas of whomever restored this place were good but that... more

We stayed in The Library which is the smallest and the least sumptuously decorated of all the rooms. The room had hardwood floors and was big and clean with a nice bathroom attached. We were disappointed though to find the closet stuffed with a comforter, which was lying on the floor of the closet together with a memory-foam pillow; a... more

The place was visually stunning and took us back to the nineteenth century. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Every piece of furniture and decoration harmonized with the surroundings. Our host was also very nice and a wonderful person to talk to. Breakfast was always on time. Anyone going to Quebec City should stay at this place. more

Wonderful B&B. Enormous rooms and fantastic and beautifully served breakfast. Location is perfect on Rue St. Jean, a few blocks outside the walls. the building is set back from the street and very quiet. There were several free things happening at night in the city that our host, Phillippe encouraged us to do. Cirque du Soliel has a show under... more

Such a great B&B to stay, rooms are nicely decorated, very clean. Been there several times i never felt it was hunted as someone else said. The old city is very close by , walking distance . I would not hesitate to recommend the place. more

This place felt dusty -- dead flowers, creepy lighting, strange decor. We had to walk all the way, 3 flights of stairs to our room. No cable TV. The location of the chateau was quite convenient, but other things were lacking. Breakfast was just ok. more

We stayed in the Belanger Suite, It had a large sitting room, a very nice bedroom and private bath. Of the three B & B's we stayed at during our trip to the province , this was by far the nicest and most reasonable. Philippe was a wonderful host and he did up the best breakfast . I would highly... more

We stayed here for 5 nights in July on the last leg of our honeymoon. The staff was friendly, breakfast was good (eggs, toast, croissants, ham, etc), and it was well-kept. The downstairs entry and dining area and much of the building should be, as another reviewer posted, part of a museum. There are several neat paintings, chandeliers, and french... more
