We picked it for the location and price (and reviews here). Khalid was a fantastic host, and I loved the breakfasts, esp the homemade yoghurt and smoothie. There is a little parking behind which is perfect if you come by car. The Multilingual hosts helps a lot if your French is rusty. The rooms are fantastic. The upper shared bathroom... More

This building was built 150 years ago, however this does not impact your comfort, in fact it adds to the charm. It is very well located, parking is tight but the owner Khalid will make it work.. He was a very amicable host, provided a great breakfast and offered several suggestions about attractions and possible dining spots. The picture on... More

This place was situated in the best spot in Quebec city. Close to Rue St-Jean, Grande allee and the Plaines of Abraham and lots of restaurants. All you got to do is park your vehicle in their very tight spot behind the building and you can walk everywhere. Breakfast was different every day(3) we stayed there. Wifi was spotty but... More

This B&B did not meet with our (two couples) expectations especially when based on its many favourable reviews. It is however well situated between the two main entrances into beautiful old Quebec (fortification). Our host was rather aloof and did not provide us with any suggestions as to attractions or restaurants. The breakfast and service was only satisfactory. Negative aspects... More

Maybe it's French Canada in a general, but the people are not very nice. Or friendly. Or warm. If you cannot speak French and have an American accent, then they treat you like scum. This place wasn't much different. Khalid was okay, but if the breakfast table of guests wanted to speak in French... then the entire conversation would be... More

Great B&B! Host is friendly and very helpful! Great atmosphere and everything is home made. Had a great stay with the family ! Felt very warm and welcomed! We had booked a bit late and they were full but they helped us out a lot and recommended a lot of little places for us to go. The host is a... More

I can't say enough about how wonderful Au Petit Roi in old Quebec City is. Before heading off to Quebec City I was a little skeptical of the place, after all the website looked a little old and the hadn't been updated in awhile, but after speaking through E-Mail to Khalid & Karima my fears were put aside and after... This B&B is very conveniently place being outside the city walls but only about 10 minutes walk from them. It is owned by Khalid of Moroccan extract which is very evident due to the strong colours used in all the décor. He speaks very good English and his breakfasts are excellent being fruit with home made yoghurt followed by a... More

We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Quebec City. It originates from 1870 and maintains the charm and character of an era past. It is within a short walk of the old city and the huge bonus is that there is free parking in the back- a rare find in QC. The room was very comfortable with a... More

This B&B is in a converted old row house on a side street near the restaurants and shops of rue St-Jean and within walking distance of many Québec attractions, even the Port is you are a good walker. I had the large main level suite which has a living room and private bathroom. It is quaintly decorated and has amenities... More
