I would totally recommend this B&B. My room was on the main floor and quite spacious and charming. The important thing was that it is very well kept and clean. We had a private on suite which was perfect. Our host was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and catered to your taste.... Wonderful home made yogourt.... More

We loved our stay at the Petit Roi (Little King) B&B. The owner is from Morocco and the house was a 150 year old Quebec home so it made for a delightful and unique mix of cultures. The room was spacious with a mini fridge, TV, AC, couch and huge bathroom. We would have liked to use a bathtub but... More

We stayed 2 nights their. The place is clean and the owner is nice and friendly. Rooms are clean and well kept ex. Washroom is also the same. Breakfast on the first morning was average. But on the second morning, we just could not eat it. The nephew, made us an uncooked beagle with an egg over top and grated... More

My daughter and granddaughter gifted me with a trip to Quebec City. We stayed at Au Petit Roi. Our room was spacious and easily accommodated the three of us. It was on the third floor so make sure you can climb a LOT steps if you choose the Laurentiian room. We had almost no contact with the owner of the... More

I loved the charm and authenticity of this B&B. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed at the end of June and had the casement windows open at night (no screens) which was wonderful. The price is very reasonable given its short, interesting walk to the old city. It is also a reasonable walk to other areas... More

We picked it for the location and price (and reviews here). Khalid was a fantastic host, and I loved the breakfasts, esp the homemade yoghurt and smoothie. There is a little parking behind which is perfect if you come by car. The Multilingual hosts helps a lot if your French is rusty. The rooms are fantastic. The upper shared bathroom... More

This building was built 150 years ago, however this does not impact your comfort, in fact it adds to the charm. It is very well located, parking is tight but the owner Khalid will make it work.. He was a very amicable host, provided a great breakfast and offered several suggestions about attractions and possible dining spots. The picture on... More

This place was situated in the best spot in Quebec city. Close to Rue St-Jean, Grande allee and the Plaines of Abraham and lots of restaurants. All you got to do is park your vehicle in their very tight spot behind the building and you can walk everywhere. Breakfast was different every day(3) we stayed there. Wifi was spotty but... More

This B&B did not meet with our (two couples) expectations especially when based on its many favourable reviews. It is however well situated between the two main entrances into beautiful old Quebec (fortification). Our host was rather aloof and did not provide us with any suggestions as to attractions or restaurants. The breakfast and service was only satisfactory. Negative aspects... More

Maybe it's French Canada in a general, but the people are not very nice. Or friendly. Or warm. If you cannot speak French and have an American accent, then they treat you like scum. This place wasn't much different. Khalid was okay, but if the breakfast table of guests wanted to speak in French... then the entire conversation would be... More
