My husband and I stayed in J.A.Moisan in the end of July 2014 for 2 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. Host: Clement is a very friendly host. As we checked in, he told us a little about Quebec City and its history. As we were having our breakfast, he also told us about... More

The last reviewer said exactly what I had in mind. During our stay, Auberge J.A. Moisan delivered a standard of service that will be nearly impossible for future B&Bs to live up to. Clement is a gracious host, the rooms are immaculent, and the breakfasts are to die for. A definite must for those who want a true taste of... More

We spent 3 nights here in mid-July. It was a wonderful stay. It is just like everyone says: beautifully re-stored 18th century property, well located for walking the city, close to many restaurants, with a very pleasant and informative host, and SUPERB breakfasts. We travel a lot, staying at many boutique hotels and B&Bs. All future stays will be measured... More

We returned after staying here two years ago, and it was as nice as we remembered. Clement and Nathalie were wonderful hosts, and the three course breakfasts were wonderful. We stayed a number of days, and each morning there was a different and lovely breakfast. What a way to start the day! The common areas of the B&B - particularly... More

Wonderful B&B. Everything is first class. St-Jean is a busy street but with the fantastic noise insulation it is very quiet inside. Rooms are super super clean. The location is fun because it attracts a combination of locals and tourists. Don't need a car because everything is walkable, if you like to walk, from the front door. The general store... More

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The accommodations were very comfortable and cozy. The common areas were quaint and relaxing. We stayed for 4 nights and each breakfast we had, was a culinary delight!! Ingredients were fresh, dishes creatively plated and the food was over the top! We couldn't wait to wake up to enjoy the next... More

Looking for a B&B located only blocks from the walled city, near multiple fabulous restaurants, over a terrific foodstore and pasry shop whose owner serves MULTICOURSE GOURMET breakfasts and gives spot on advice on what to see and in what order along with history and B&B ambience that can't be beat. It does require walking up 2 flights but parking... More

We stayed 2 nights in this super cute BnB in May, the weather was colder than expected but the central location made walking everywhere convenient. The store on the first floor has everything, and the best of it, especially nice to grab a couple beers and a snack and sit on the patio or in the sitting room of the... More

We have just had a suberb stay at Auberge J.A. Moisan. Our charming and enthusiastic host Clément St-Laurent provided wonderful information about the history, the best way to see the city and the best places to dine at night. The rooms are cosy and very comfortable. The highlight was a delicious and varied multiple course breakfast cooked to perfection each... More

Gorgeous B and B! Welcoming and very accomodating hosts (thank you!). Extensive knowledge of the region and town. Scrumptious breakfast that left us rolling out the door - made with regional produce. Beautiful rooms with heavenly beds. Perfect location, central to everything. We will be back!
