Gorgeous B and B! Welcoming and very accomodating hosts (thank you!). Extensive knowledge of the region and town. Scrumptious breakfast that left us rolling out the door - made with regional produce. Beautiful rooms with heavenly beds. Perfect location, central to everything. We will be back!

Our first stop on our two week trip was Quebec the last two days of September and first two weeks of October 2013. There were four of us two couples and our favorite place on trip was Auberge J.A. Moisan. We spent much time on the patio enjoying the wonderful meats and cheeses from the gourmet store below.. The rooms... More

As I write this we're spending a couple of days in the dead of a winter storm in this cozy, atmospheric B & B just outside the walled city. This is a truly special place. To begin, our gregarious host, Clement, is a wealth of information. Upon arrival, he gave us the historical background of the upstairs auberge and the... More

In September 2013, we took 5 of our friends on a tour of eastern Canada. We booked rooms at this Auberge because there were 4 rooms available on the dates we required and the reviews were positive. We were not disappointed. Our British friends were charmed. The rooms are above a very fine Epicierie (a mini Harrods food hall!). The... More

We stayed in Auberge J.A Moisan in June 2012 and I have been meaning to write a review ever since as it was the highlight of our trip to Quebec! We haven't stayed in many B&Bs in the past but I have been converted since staying with Clement and Nathalie. Clement is so helpful and knowledgeable and put up with... More

Having traveled in Europe extensively we are not new to bijou, petite and cozy accommodations, and the Auberge Moisan is very European in this respect :) Keep in mind that this is an old mansion, though it has been updated with a number of modern conveniences, so it is quite comfortable. The sitting rooms are spacious and allow you to... More

If you are looking for a genuine experience in the heart of Quebec City, start calling Clement at the Auberge J.A.Moisan. It doesn't get better with four well appointed cozy guest rooms perfect for one or two people, breakfasts served in total elegance, try the sunroom too! Nathalie is an awesome chef. There are two narrower staircases up to the... More

This was a wonderful B&B. Clement made great recommendations of things to do and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was awesome. The room was very clean and comfortable. Make sure you go to the store on the first floor. It had groceries, spices, coffee, deli, cheese, olive oil, spices, etc. A real experience.

We have stayed in numerous B&B's over the years, and our experience here is definitely in our top 3. Clement is a warm and welcoming host, and spends a great deal of time explaining Quebec City history and sights to visit in the area. The rooms are small and cozy, but pristine. And of course, the breakfasts ... simply to... More

My husband and I stayed here in 2011 and loved it so much we decided to bring my sister and her husband this time. Once again Clement greeted us enthusiastically and is an informative and effervescent host. Breakfast is incredible - so delicious and 'fit for foodies'. The breakfasts keep you going well into the day, this is no continental... More
