Where to start? Whatever you desire in a vacation "small inn" it's right here! The building is historic, the bedrooms are luxurious, the common areas on second floor are filled with luscious antiques, and historic photos of Quebec City. Clement and Natalie are exceptional hosts! The gourmet breakfasts we enjoyed were incredible, a leisurely hour & a half, three courses,... More

From the 1st - they take your car away to park - which is great, you don't want it. Too hard to drive around city, and you will love walking in it. A step back in time, yet luxury. Food was incredible- total gourmet. We had breakfast the two of us in the garden room by courtyard, instead of formal... More

It is difficult to find new superlatives for our experience at Auberge J. A. Moisan as most have already been said in previous reviews. We can confirm all the positive, wonderful comments other reviewers have said about their experience with Clement and his exceptional hospitality. In addition to the gourmet breakfasts beautifully executed and impeccably served and the suggestions on... More

My husband and I recently spent 3 unforgettable nights with Clemente and Natalie in their beautiful B&B - right over a wonderful grocery store! It was absolutely perfect! The 3 course breakfasts were absolutely delicious and each day brought new, even more wonderful surprises for the palate served graciously by Clemente ( And behind every great man serving breakfast is... I wanted my family who were visiting from Calgary, AB, to get a true feeling for the hospitality of Quebec, and I need not have gone any further than the Auberge J.A. Moisan and its proprietor, Clement Saint-Laurent. Since we would be occupying three quarters of the auberge, Clement, in the true spirit of graciousness and hospitality, created a "home... More

What an excellent choice for us for a B & B very close to the old city walls of olde Quebec (3-4 blocks to the St. James gate on Rue St. Jean and 2 blocks up to the Parliament). Clement Saint-Laurent is an excellent host - both friendly and helpful. The19th C. décor is exquisite - numerous antiques, period wall... More

What a fabulous B&B! We stayed here for three nights in the Ludivine room. The room we had was small, but very comfortable, with our own private bathroom. Our host Clement was friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had in a B&B. Clement would introduce the breakfast menu each morning, which consisted of three... Conveniently located .. walking distance to the old town, restaurants, cafes.. Spotlessly clean. Lots of attention has been paid to detail. Valet parking is included. Breakfast deserves three Michelin stars. Inn keeper Clement is very knowledgeable in history/cuisine and genuinely helpful.. This location may not be the best choice for families with little kids.

My husband and I stayed in J.A.Moisan in the end of July 2014 for 2 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. Host: Clement is a very friendly host. As we checked in, he told us a little about Quebec City and its history. As we were having our breakfast, he also told us about... More

The last reviewer said exactly what I had in mind. During our stay, Auberge J.A. Moisan delivered a standard of service that will be nearly impossible for future B&Bs to live up to. Clement is a gracious host, the rooms are immaculent, and the breakfasts are to die for. A definite must for those who want a true taste of... More
