We caught a cab from the railway station to Chez Hubert in the old city, only a short distance but a steep climb. Chez Hubert is situated in a narrow winding street within easy walking distance of everything in the old city, shops, restaurants, Chateau Frontenac, Visitors Information Centre etc. I am unable to walk long distances but had no... Our group loved the central location in this quaint old building. The couple that runs it is very friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast is attractive, plentiful, varied and nutritious for the day's walking ahead. Meeting and chatting with fellow travelers over breakfast added to the atmosphere of Chez Hubert. It's just around the corner from the old city gate and... More

A 10 minute walk to the chateau Frontenac, the funicular to the lower town, many restaurants, on a quiet street, full breakfast, spacious room, free parking. All that for $130 a night in a very touristed town. Treat yourself to a nightcap at the bar in the chateau Frontenac overlooking the river. No credit cards at this b&b, personal checks... More

Very old-style B&B in Québec City, we had a gigantic room with two queen size beds, a big shower and it was really cosy. We loved this place. Private parking and everything very near, you reach the chateau in five minutes walk. The home made breakfast was really magnificent and very tasty.. Go there if you go to Québec City

We stayed at this B&B for 3 nights and found it to be a great location for walking to many of the sights we wanted to see while in Quebec City. The owners were wonderful and breakfast was amazing. They had cheese/meats/fruits/rolls, coffee/juice and then a made to order hot breakfast. We had French toast, eggs and pancakes while we... More

My wife & I are from Toronto and stayed one night in June and found the location, price and room ideal. We have little experience with B&B's but this one worked out great. They are inside the walls of the old city and it is an easy walk down to the lower section of Vieux Quebec. Breakfast was great and... More

My mother and I stayed here for 3 nights in May, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Though the street can be noisy till around 9, after that it is perfectly quiet. The house itself is beautiful, our room was on the third floor. We had our own, newly renovated bathroom with a glass door, glass shower, and skylight. The whole room... More

My wife and I were supposed to stay at chez hubert last week, but because of water damage, the owners moved us to chez marie claire, two doors down. It was an upgrade to the family suite. Ellen and her sister Claire from France took care of us. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and the girls... More

My wife and I spent three nights with Marjorie in mid-October (pretty much the last three days before Winter struck) and had a wonderful time. It doesn't feel like you've booked a place to stay, but rather a friend has an Aunt that lives in Quebec City, and she'll let you stay in one of her rooms if you throw... More

The family that owns and operates this B&B was wonderful and the building was beautiful in an old Brownstone mansion sort of way. Definitely worth a stay. The breakfast served was very nice. Make sure when staying here you explore all the side streets of the Old City because there are a lot on the main strip that are tourist... More
