There were four of us, all adults travelling around Canada, so needed to keep to a tight budget. We booked this hotel as the room was advertised as a 'one bedroom suite' and lastminute actually stated on their website that this was a 'private bedroom'. This has now been removed. The hotel was excellent. Staff were great, rooms clean and comfortable. The cappaccino machine in the lobby was a nice touch also. the breakfast offered each morning was very nice.Central to all activities in the old city. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Old Quebec more

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Champlain. The room was nice (not as big as the photos made it look, but isn't that always the case...?) - bed was SUPER comfy, there is free high speed wireless internet, a small refrigerator, and pleasant furnishings. Was here for 1 night in June and loved this boutique hotel right in the heart of Quebec City. Our room was well appointed with jacuzzi tub, fireplace, pullout sofa, plasma tv and king bed. Iwas afraid that they would not be child friendly, but it was fine. I really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again. more

The rooms are large and nicely appointed. Our view of the Chateau was amazing. The beds were hard - really too hard to be comfortable. My parents had to change hotels due to the beds. The location is very convenient to old town Quebec. It was a good choice for touring the city. The included breakfast was a little sad.... more

We stayed here for two nights in June. The location was excellent as it was only a few minute walk to the Tourist Center on St Anne. The staff was quite accommodating. We stayed at the Hotel Champlain in April for 3 nights. The staff was very helpful, polite and kind with everybody. The hotel has a very special decoration and the rooms are beautiful! The breakfast was very good too. We loved our stay at the Hotel Champlain, we will recommand this hotel to everybody who would like to visit Quebec! more
